February arrivals and Magic Bands

I just noticed I can customize MBs for February already. This blows the whole 60 days prior theory out of the water. Anyone else?

Same for us. I was really surprised because I check everyday. Yesterday, it finally worked.

We are arriving February 4. It wants me to confirm my address. I have listed a PO Box, but I thought I read somewhere that they arrive via UPS. The website does not say anything about this. Can I use the PO Box for Magic Band delivery?

My Magic Band information came up yesterday but I do not see anything that says "customize".

Customized mine this morning! Though the window telling me to sign up for FP+ was a bit of a tease. Guess the 60 day rule is still in effect for those.

Still nice to do something Disney-related to kick off the day...

UPDATE: I was on hold on the phone with Disney for a bit. The Magic Bands ship via UPS so I had to update address to a physical address, no PO Box. Thankfully it gave me to option to keep the PO Box for my account. He did say that if I didn't want to use a physical address, he would give me the address to POFQ to have them shipped there, but I want them in my grubby hands!

After address was updated, it did let me customize bands at 84 days out. The person I spoke to on the phone said that when they go-live they no longer expect to have the 60 day window for Magic Bands and you can do that whenever you want.

The website, after customizing, does say I can update my Magic Band choices until Jan 4 which is 1 month before arrival!

One more thing done - just have to wait for FP+ now. A bit exhausting for those like me that are planning obsessed.

I was surprised that after I customized my Magic Bands, it came up with my daily itinerary which included dining reservations, so I guess I don't have to link those after all?????

The 60 day window is for FP+ reservations, not necessarily Band selection.

Yes it is.

But there has been no confirmation as to when you'd be able to customize magic bands yet.

I'm glad you told me this because for my parents' reservation I put in their PO box. I'll change it to my address so it ships then.

I was also able to customize mine (85 days in advance...arrive of feb 2). It asked for my address however I don't think they will ship to Canada so we may just have to pick them up at the resort.

Just customized mine for our Feb 8th trip. It also let me customize one for my two year old, does anyone know if she is going to get a band? She is a total princess so she will surely want one.

Just customized ours for Feb. 15th arrival! Glad to see that I haven't missed out on FP+ selections. I got nervous when I saw I could click on it but nothing happened!

She will. We arrive 12/2 and my 2 year old did get her pink band . Enjoy!

Yes it is. But there has been no confirmation as to when you'd be able to customize magic bands yet.

Oh good thought I was missing out then lol.

We customised ours. Very excited that even DD 2 gets a band x

I was able to customize my MB last night for a 2/6 arrival date; site said I had till 1/6 to make changes. I don't have a park ticket yet (will probably purchase online from Disney this week), so didn't even click on the FP+ link. 12/8 is my 60 day mark, so I figured that would be the absolute earliest I might have FP+ access.

Wow! Just looking through the boards and saw my fellow February "peeps" chatting about magic bands, so I hopped on my account for our February 13th - 23rd trip at POR and…walla…we can customize! Announced this to the family, so DD (9) went for blue…I went for red…mom wasn't as excited as we were, so she let us pick…pink! So excited to see everyone else so excited for their February trip. 95 days on our countdown! Has anyone heard if we will be able to pull FP- paper tickets in addition to our FP+ in February? I know that people can still do it as of today, but do you think it will hold up through February? (oh please…oh please!) In other news...So, Splash Mt. at MK will be in a refurb, along with backlot tour in HS…any other Feb. refurbs? I wonder if that 7D Mine Train may surprise us (oh please…oh please)! I am just a LITTLE excited for our trip…never stayed at POR…going with a Royal Room…last of the moderates we have to visit…a sucker for Caribbean Beach, but DD won me over. Let's keep this going and share excitement, tips, and news!

We are arriving 2/9 and was bummed that we weren't going to be able to participate with the Magic Bands. Viola! Yesterday MDE (11/9) requested verification of my address and said I had until 1/9 to customize our bands. Very pleased. I chose pink, my 5yo grandson orange and 7yo grandson green.
