I think we are going to put count down calendars in the our kids suitcases, Christmas presents.

I haven't checked in lately, clearly I have missed lots. To respond to the most recent posts...
Kathy, I would like to 'steal your idea for a countdown, linking certain days to activities. I think that is an awesome idea. I have never done anything in the pat as a countdown. You can find great ideas on pinterest too.
We did see the Hobbit.... Most if the family are big lord of the rings fans... I enjoyed it, and I know my son and husband loved it.
Does anyone know what the plan is for FE groups, in terms of size and division? I really need to start working on that. Already, time is passing quickly. Though it still feels so far away.

Trivia question: Does anyone know which country Walt's father Elias emigrated from? I'll check back with the answer this weekend.

Hey guys!! Impatiently waiting over here....

My father in law and his wife are going on the cruise with us. We are so excited to have them with us. This will be their first cruise and I am anxious to see them interact with the girl's excitement.

I need to start looking for pirate attire again. Where do you guys find stuff?

I have some ideas for the FE, I just need to pick one and stick with it!

When I did my pirate outfit I went to the thrift store to look for clothes I could cut ragged edges on the sleeves and such. Also got a layered skirt and ripped it up a lot. I had Mickey pirate ears already. Took a scrap piece of vinyl for a sash and found a plastic skull face to glue onto the front of the sash.
Its amazing what you can find for pennies at thrift stores. Just happened to see brown boots on a close out rack one day and snagged then up too.

Well it looks like rain all through the weekend here so we will probably go to WDW over the weekend. Nothing like some rain to clear out the crowds.

I think we might also go see Ironman 3 at Downtown Disney sometime over the weekend too.

Happy Monday morning everyone,

We went and saw Iron man 3 at an I-Max theater over the weekend. Our son got us discount tickets or I wouldn't have gone to an I-Max theater. Boy they are expensive!! But we did enjoy the show. We did a 10 a.m. matinee so there was only 30 of us in the theater which was great.

Then last evening we went to Epcot to watch one of their oldies concerts they always have with their Flower and Garden festival each year. Last night was Tommy Roe. If your 50+ you might remember him from the mid 60's. He put on a great show and at 71 he still has a good strong voice. I really enjoyed the concert.

Today is back to reality of house work and passing time until we cruise. When we go to Disney I always look at the summer clothes that look like you would stay cool in them and think if I should get something similar to wear on the islands to stay cooler.
I always wear denim jeans which are not cool in hot weather. So I am trying to find something cooler to wear.

I know that cotton is cooler, especially white but when I wear white it turns gray too fast LOL!! If there's a speck of dirt out there I seem to find it.

I was thinking maybe seer sucker, I think that's the name? Anybody here ever wear that? Years ago it was very popular but if I remember right it always wrinkled bad when washed and shrank a lot. I may be better now.

Any ideas for me? I would appreciate hearing any of them.
