I just watched the Fantasy pull out. Looks like they had great weather for their deck party.

I can't wait to sail on her again!!!

Happy Monday everyone,

starting a new week means we ar e 1 week closer to our cruise.

On FB we have been discussing ideas for names for this group.

Shannon has suggested Cupids of the Caribbean.

So I am asking here for any ideas some of you might have for a name?

Many people like to personalize their FE gifts so the sooner we decide on a name the sooner those people can start working on their projects.


Right now I have nothing to offer but I'm sure someone must have an idea or two??

That can be the question of the day.

What to you think a good name would be for our group??

it's a cool cloudy morning here in Florida today. Soon summer will be here and it will be too hot with the humidity. So I guess I had better enjoy the cooler days while they last.

I am going to play a bit of catch up with the questions I have missed.

If I could change anything on the ship, I wish that they had made the 1 bedroom concierge on the Fantasy as big as the Wonder/Magic. It would be nice to fit everyone in one room.

Never been to castaway cay, so excited to experience it as a whole. We are planning the stingray excursion for the younger kids.

As for stateroom, we knew we wanted a verandah this time and didn't want to be too high for the motion of the ship. Then just went with Disney CM recommendation.

Does anyone have any motion sickness remedies that they swear by, my youngest son had a rough time last time. He will be 10 this time so if anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it.

We have had so much snow this last week, it will be fabulous leaving this weather next year. Can't wait....

We have never gotton sea sick but i know others who didnt want to medicate their kids with thing slike kids Bonine or Dramamine so they brought them Gingerale to sip on. They kept it room temperature and made sure the kids always had a little something in their stomachs since empty stomachs get upset easier according to their peditrician.

I have read green skinned apples help too. Not sure why? The ships have gingerale but not alot, it has to be requested for upset stomachs or at least they use to.

Just wanted to post a couple of reminders to everyone, especially the new people or folks that dont go to the FB page.

For some this will be repeat information so please bear with me for those who dont know about all of the following information.


1. We are looking for suggestions for a name for this group. So far 1 name has been posted. Please post any ideas or if you like the original idea.

2. We have several events people have expressed interest in doing.
The sign up lists are on FB.

If you want to participate in any of the following events please go to FB and click on the link for group events to sign up OR tell me and I will make sure your added. You can drop out later if you change your mind, so if you even think you might like to do this, please sign up anyway so you can receive all the specifics when the time comes. Then you can make your final decision.

Those are what we have so far.
Wrist bands will be ordered and you will pay for your order at the time of the order so nobody pays for these and then has to collect the money later around $1 each, depending on size of order.

T-Shirts for those intersted it was decided that a professional printer is too expensive and cant use Disney logos due to copy write problems , so we decided we would all buy our own t-shirts or blouses or tank tops and then using iron on transfers we will make our own shirts with the same design.
It is inexpensive that way.
The design will be determined a bit later. We will submit several designs and then vote on it.

If you have never done this or dont have a printer contact me for more details and help with getting the design printed off for you to use. We want everyone who wants to do this to be able to.

If anyone has any other ideas for a meet speak up. We do have 3 sea days so lots of time for a few meets without interfering with family activities on board.

Good morning everyone,

The sun has finally come back to central Florida after 2 days of rain.

Hope everyone is having a great week.

I have been looking at excursions a lot the last few days. We have done so many of them that if we do an excursion we may be repeating this year at St. Maartin. St. Thomas has a boat sight seeing excursion we havnt done before so we may do that. Can't think of the name but its the last one listed for St. Thomas and it says it has just returned, so apparently they use to have it.

We love St. Johns too!! But we have also been there a few times before and didnt see anything new for excursions there.

Anybody here decide on any excursions they might do??

Spring break makes for large crowds but if we go early its not too bad.

Sometimes we just go for a walk and people watch. There is a nice path from Hollywood Studios to the Boardwalk and over to the Worlds at Epcot we like to walk. Plenty of places to sit and people watch and food for lunch.

Every time I look at the port adventures I seem to change my mind, so it is hard to say what we will end up doing when it comes down to it!

I have to say that reading your post makes me extremely jealous! The idea of heading out to people watch at WDW sounds delightful.

I have been in training to run a local half marathon in May. Tomorrow we are running a 9 mile training run! I am nervous, but I just keep telling myself that it is just one more mile than last week. This winter has been tough for training. I don't mind the cold temperatures, but it seems like every time the sidewalks and streets become clear of ice and snow it storms again. Wish me luck-I need it!

I am the same way. I think I have decided but then think I may want to do something else Since we have been on the Eastern a few times I am trying not to repeat an excursion, which is hard to do.

I finished the nine miles and I am pretty pleased with the pace I maintained. I averaged about an 11 minute mile, so if I can maintain that or better it for 13.1 miles I will be thrilled!

11 minute miles is great!!! I know you can make it for the 13/1 miles. Have you done the 5K on Castaway Cay ? That's a nice run too.

Well we changed our minds and went to Epcot today. It was 82 degrees out and now the clouds are leaving and the sun is out. Not sure what happened to our 50% chance of rain today. I'll take this kind of rain any day.


I am excited to watch the Fantasy pull out tonight. I always think just a few months and we will be on her again.

On FB a couple ladies have suggested a couple different names for our group and I wanted to post them here for your opinions on them.

Please add any ideas you may have or express your opinion on these two suggestions so we can start deciding on a name for our group.
