I agree parks before the cruise so you can recover on the cruise. Running around WDW is not a restful vacation, but it is a fun one!!

We spent the morning at MK and my feet are tired.

Sorry I'm a little behind! Our oldest son flew home from college for spring break and it's been crazy. His first flight Friday night delayed long enough that he missed his connection in Denver and had to spend the night there. Then his morning flight canceled due to the weather. He was able to get a flight out to Bozeman which is 2 hours away so we flew out the door to drive up there and get him. SOOOOO thankful he made it home!! And loving having him home although the week will go by too quickly.

Rotational dining: Since this is our first cruise, I don't know!! But it sounds like a lot of fun!

Pre-cruise: We are flying in on Thursday and plan to do SeaWorld (I think) on Friday before the cruise.

I posted the question on facebook about the T-shirts and wristbands. It sounds like the majority of the people would prefer to do wristbands. My husband won't wear matching T-shirts and it sounds like he is not alone.

What do you all think about doing the wrist bands? I like the idea of having the wrist bands to wear all week and being able to recognize group members.

We could still do the T-shirt option for those who want to do it.

Any thoughts?

Excellent compromise!! My hubby would probably not wear a matching t-shirt either, but I think the kids & I would love to! So, maybe the iron-on at home thing would work out for those that want to. Then, the wristbands too. I am also terrible with remembering names, so the wristbands would be nice to recognize a group member. What kind of wristbands are they? The rubber ones like the Livestrong ones?

I think its a great idea to offer both the t-shirt and wrist band options.

That way everyone is happy.

Personally I would like to make the shirt (iron on transfers) for the first day and meet and wear a wrist band during the week.
In a few days we could start sharing pictures for ideas to put on the shirts.

I know we have lots of time but it would be fun to start thowing pictures out there to be considered.

I am ok with any color or style wrist bands.

I'm not much of a world fan. I will have to get back home by Sunday night. So, I might stick around another day for the fun of it all - but will prob not partake in the parks this go around. However, my cousin - she will find any excuse to go though the gates of WDW.

Ok! I added sheets for those events to the spread sheet! It's up to you if you want to add the people from your list or not. I don't think it would hurt anything to put them on the list since they already said they wanted to do it. They can always remove themselves if they decide not to participate!

If you could change one thing about Disney Cruise Line what would it be?

Even if its your first cruise I know you have read up on stuff so i think you could think of something you wish was a bit different or would like to add to DCL.



My Answer:

I would have anytime dining like some other lines have.
It just means the restaurants are open specific hours and you go anytime during those hours, in any restaurant you want. That way you can sit by yourself or with others too and eat when you are actually hungry not when your told to. Plus a 24 hour buffet!

We're so excited to be going on this cruise!!
I read this question earlier and have been trying to think of something I would change, but nothing is coming to me! And since it is our first cruise ever, I don't have anything to compare it to. Everything sounds like so much fun!! I'll just have to answer this one after the cruise

My answer would be - more Cabanas at Castaway and more pool space for the kiddos.

Good morning everyone,

We finally have our Florida sunshine back today. Although a high of 70 isnt much for Florida.
I am glad for all the spring break people that the weather is getting better. I hate to see vacations spoiled a bit by cold and rain.
