Someone asked who the CD was going to be. Here is the answer I got from the concierges:

Right now is Brent Davies but it could change at anytime. I am not sure
who will be the Cruise Director in February as of yet but again it could
be Brent as well.

I have spent way to much time also. But yes that is what I did the last time. But I lurked for a long time. Because I didn't know which cruise week I was going to finalize on.

But alass I am not going to take another cruise next year. We are planning on Hawaii instead. and I haven't decided on the 99 rate time line, DD will be in grad school and all my Friend are either not cruise people or not disney people. I know I should get rid of them and get new ones.

Anyway, I have to go to work now.

DH is going to hit the roof when he gets home-- I just printed out all the navigators from someone's Nov. '08 Western I know they don't stay exactly the same, but they're similar, right? Does anyone know if the kids programming stays on the same general schedule each time?

I talked to dh the other night about booking a dummy date for our next cruise while on board. I think that's the only way I'm going to stay sane and not have cruise withdrawls after this trip. He wasn't too keen on the idea but he better learn to suck it up because I need to have something to plan!!! lol

FE shopping went well. I'm stuck on what to get the men.... I'm going to put everything together tonight (hopefully) and see what else I need to buy. I think I'm pretty much done.

Sue, you brought up Key West recently and I'm not sure what we're doing while in port. This is also a cheapie (ha, Disney? cheap?) vacation and we don't have excursions booked. I think we're doing a beach in both Cayman and Cozumel. But Key West I'm stuck on. The pirate museum looks really cool but when you buy 5 tickets it adds up! Those darn kids! I'm going to post on the main board in just a minute about free things to do in Key West. Maybe someone will come up with a good idea.

We're in the same boat for Key West. Only things we know we want to do are Mass at St. Mary Star of the Seas, a visit to the Southernmost Point, Sloppy Joe's for lunch (I think our DS is convinced that Sloppy Joeys, as we call them at home, are named after HIM) and the Sunset Festival if timing/location will still allow us to get back on the boat in time. As for Cayman and Cozumel, do you know which beaches you are going to do? I'm in the process of trying to figure out where to take the boys (they're perfectly happy with the beach route which is good since they're a little young for excursions yet). I'm still thinking Chankanaab for Cozumel just because it looks like it's somewhere in between a regular beach and an all-out eco-theme-park like Xcaret (which is a bit on the pricey side). Grand Cayman-- NO idea Guess all that gives me something to work on between now and then, haha

Cozumel, well, I'm still stuck between a few beaches but I'm thinking either Playa Uvas or Playa Palancar. OY! This is hard!

I'll be on the Feb 7 cruise also, after a 4 day stint at Disney World. CANNOT wait, this is our 4th Disney cruise and we are just as excited if not more than when it was our first!!

Rumor is that we all get a voucher for the $99 cruise. Halloween would be SO fun! But I don't think DH would do that one since he's a closet Halloween fan and I don't think he'd give it up Where do you find the date options?

My sister goes to Loyola, but our family lives in Cleveland and she was there for the holidays-- She got an extended vacation I like the snow in the moderately cold temps, but this single digit and below zero stuff is aweful.

The ONE good thing about this weather (provided it slows down enough for all of us to be able to make the boat in time!) is that it makes that 80-something degree weather look THAT much better-- although, does it REALLY need that much help???

We are planning on taking advantage of the $99 bounceback. We are looking at adding a 4 night either before or after if we can, 3 nights is just not enough!! Anyone figure out what the actual cost pp will be with port fees etc???

I am glad to see some of your plans for the ports. We have only cruised the eastern route 2x so the western is new to us. I have been scouring the boards but nothing set in stone yet.

Thanks for the well wishes. I tried to eat and well not such a good idea. I have lost 3 lbs! Just not the way I wanted to! LOL And I hate to say this but I have to get back to work. I have so much to do before we leave!

if you google it, you can find it, but it pretty much any date from aug to dec 09 i think til dec 17th.....remember, this is FL, hurricane season is all summer and october is the first safe time to go since it isnt over til nov. 1st technically hence why we chose halloween! ps. reading the boards there is even trick or treating ON BOARD!

I have to say that I too check the boards daily. As we are quickly approaching our cruise date, everyone is posting frantically. It is making me even more anxious.

Keep it up all.

I also don't know what I am going to do with myself without disboards and planning to keep me sane.
