Absolutely come and join our group. We have all kinds of meetings set up, some planned and some coindental and some because of similar interests.

Friday, Feb 6th...pre cuise meet at teh Radisson in Port Canaveral
Saturday, Feb 7th...the Valentine Voyagers (us) meet on Deck 3 in front of mickey and stutue, 2:30 for meet, group picture and ice breaker for anyone interested.
Sunday, Feb 8th...adult gathering. Originally was for birthday celebrations happening on cruise but then we realized we are all celebrating something during, before or after so we're just going to get together for fun. I'd have to check time and location.
Then there are those informal meet ups that happen due to individual interests.

Its quiet today, everyone must be busy packing. We leave in 11 days for 5 days at the parks first.

Newbies08 - We are staying at Silver Lake Resort, it borders the Animal Kingdom property. We've owned there for about 11 years now. Great location! Are you doing parks everyday? We are.

We are doing Palo on Thursday night. Mmmm... can't wait for that chocolate souffle'!

We're planning on the parks for 4 days and will do Cape Canaveral the other day (Thurs probably). DH is space crazy so cant miss that one. It sounds like the Shuttle will be there getting ready for the possible Feb 12th launch day. We may get lucky if its delayed a day or two (which is fairly likely I think). What do you think is the best plan for 4yr olds? Is Epcot worth a visit or just focus on Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and HS? Im thinking we will pass on the water parks as the kids are too young for most of the slides etc and we can swim at the timeshare. Ours is a couple of miles from Downtown Disney, on Lake Bryan.

Thanks for the tip on the chocolate souffle (& thanks Pam for babysitting so we can go to Palo ). I was so excited to get the reservation after we missed out initially. PrincessMeesh - I havent seen any brunch ressies come open but its worth it to keep checking. The dinner I got was just by fluke (late at night.......maybe you could ck at 3am when you get up ).

Pgsahm2: thanks for the beach info at Cozumel. We reserved there too as it seems like a great spot and a good deal. I like the idea of being flexible on when we leave and go back to the ship esp with young kids. It sounds like the snorkeling will be good there too.

No docs for us yet . We are leaving next weekend so hopefully they come soon.

I've been reading the thread now for a while and only came on once in late Nov. to say hi to all once I knew for sure we were definitely going. Now it's almost time to go and I am so EXCITED!!!! We have our packet too!

In my earlier post I noted that the cruise is for our 25th Wedding anniversary but we are celebrating a little early. We share an anniversary with the other couple that was also married on 5/26!

We are 1st time cruisers so I didn't do the FEs but it looks like a really fun thing to do. If we (I know I'd like go again!) go on another cruise, I'm not holding back and will be full swing on the forum and FEs. Hubby doesn't know it but he is a DH in "training". He is finally coming around and showing some excitement about the cruise. He didn't think we should bring kids on "our" anniversary trip. I keep telling him we'll be seeing our kids for excursions and that will be about it and we'll have plenty of time for just us!

can i just vent for a minute? dcl has the very WORST website i have EVER had to deal with! just the PITS! it is ALWAYS slow and sometimes the pages just wont load and show error! cmon beloved disney, get a new server for your loyal dcl'ers!

Wow, this week has flown by! and sadly enough, I haven't done ANYTHING for the cruise this week. I am in tech week (for all you theatre fans) for a show that opens tonight, so I have been head over heels amidst Willy Wonka!!

Looking at the calendar, I am setting into full panic mode! However, next week will be better...it has to be!

Today is DH real 40th birthday! Geesh, I remember when we were 20, how does this happen?

11 more days for use before we leave for WDW!

Michelle, I thought I was the only one that HATES Disney's site with a passion. It's ridiculous. As much money as they have they could easily fix it. I'm on dial-up which makes it that much worse!

Today is Friday for all you worker bees. Another half day for school so the boys will be home driving me crazy earlier than usual. I'm suddenly starting to panic a bit more each day knowing that everyone has to be WELL in two weeks. No colds, flu or viruses. I'm thinking we need to quarantine ourselves for the next two weeks!!

you know what guys? i think me and my DD6 are going to join you playa uvas'ers as DH and DD8 are doing the ruins/beach tour for like 6 hours and though they are supposed to end up at playa mia, playa uvas looks MUCH nicer and it appears it will be less crowded. do you know the entrance fee? maybe a bunch of us could pile in a cab 2gether to save some $$??

Michelle, count me in on Playa Uvas. I think it's actually closer to the ships than Playa Mia too. I looked at the website yesterday but for the life of me I cannot remember what the prices were, I think it depended on whether you were snorkeling, and eating there also, do you think we can just pay there when we arrive at the gate?

I also had problems getting on the dcl website yesterday, I called up and complained and to see if they could book my excursions there and they couldn't. They said their entire system was down.
