Would any of you or your guests be interested in a game of poker during our cruise? I'm thinking one or more afternoons in Diversions where its usually quiet then. Low stakes, texas hold-em style tournament. If there is interest I will bring chips and cards. PM me or we can discuss here.

Greetings!

For the Fish Extender exchange, you deliver trinkets (bought or homemade, small, not too expensive) to each of the staterooms that are participating sometime during the cruise. Some people make more than one round of deliveries; some give one gift for each stateroom and some give enough gifts so each person in the room get something. You will need to attach something with pockets to the fish clip outside your stateroom so people can leave things for you. There are pictures of FEs on different threads- you can even have them made for you.

It's fun to find gifts when you return to your room throughout the week.

Do not stress about what to give. Whatever you bring will be fun . We've received pirate tattoos, notepads, pencils, Disney trinkets, maps, pens, pencils, magnets, snacks, things from the giver's home town or area.

You will receive a map to help with delivery and you will have info about the ages of those in the stateroom.

Have fun and enjoy the days leading up to our cruise!

I personally have not done this as this will only be our second cruise. However I have read where this happens a lot and has never been a problem. Basically it would be a group of friends getting together to play a game in a place where they already have other games available to play. With a little cash thrown in to make it more interesting. I of course won't win anyway.

This is our first Disney cruise, and super excited. We are celebrating our 5 year old son's bday and my husbands, same week. the 4rth and the 8th. I am a bit overwhelmed thinking there will be so many activities to do and not much time...Also, we would be interested in the FE's...but can you tell me how this works, and are you officially leading it, as i've been reading the posts? what kind of gifts and do we give to everyone in cabin or as a family? How will we know who to give to, and so forth? Also, are we to decorate our own door? Thank you for any insight on this.

Just booked this cruise today! We're already so excited and can't wait to go!

This will be our 7th Disney cruise. Our party will be DH, DD-11, DD'sBFF-14 (which will be her first cruise) and me.

We've participated in FE for the last 4 cruises and it's lots of fun. If there's interest, I would be willing to help put that together. Also, for our last cruise, I wrote a Scavenger Hunt to do at the terminal for those of us that like to arrive early and get onboard as soon as we can! I could dig that up again if anyone's interested - it was well received and fun for the whole family.

I want to send out a BIG thank you to Sharon for organizing the FE

This is our 1st cruise therefore our 1st FE - so excited to distribute all our treats. Hope you like them - just putting the finishing touches on a few items.

Question: Are we planning a meet & greet? I would love to meet as many of you as possible We visit WDW at least once a year & I send Post cards to all my friends - old & new. The list is up to 60 families!! My goal is to get to 100!

Yes we are super excited as it gets closer as well and I second the thank you for Sharon getting this FE thing together. I better get shopping. I just got word from her yesterday that we are confirmed. Wasn't sure as I sent her message day after cut off, but we are in, Yay! Cant Wait. A meet and greet sounds fun. Hope it's on a day we are out to see as we have excursions planned.

We have 17 staterooms with 58 guests (34 Adults and 24 Kids).

I will be putting together a guide for you that includes a map of the staterooms participating along with who is in each room so that it will be easier to make deliveries. I'm still trying to figure out the best system to get this info to you. I may need to collect email addresses but watch for instructions.
