I can't keep up with all this basketball talk. I won't really watch now until the finals. The post-season seems to drag on forever.......

As for A-rod - it's early, he'll be back. I'm not worried. I know the Yankee-haters out there are happy (or at least not un-happy!) but you know they have the best doctors Steinbrenner's money can buy.

Johnna Steinbrenner has the best team that can't win that money can buy. As for my trip, I am lucky I am on it, but I am and I am going to Party. I head for WDW on Wed.

Well it looks like the Lakers will be taking care of things with the Jazz. Maybe we will get a Old School finals. Celtics Vs. Lakers. My Dodgers lost their fist game in a week yesterday, so our 8 game winning streak comes to and end and the next three nights we play the Mets. At least we do not face Santana.

Wanted to say Hi and check in with everyone. Our thread has been a little quiet these days - besides the basketball talk - and with Alan leaving for his trip in two days, I'm sure we won't hear much from him for a couple weeks.

It's finally spring in the DC/Maryland area - and I know that because the allergies in the Story house are RAGING! There is a layer of yellow or green pollen on the cars each morning. Ugh. I should have bought stock in whatever company makes Clairitin a long time ago.

Hi all from the Space Mountian line on May 9. Yes it is true in just under 24 hrs from right now I will be on the Magic for 15 wonderful nights. Just wanted to say hi an Go Lakers and Dodgers. I hope the Yankkes keep losing. I will most likely be saying hi from the ship.

Hey Mark nd everyone else. So far this has been such a awesome cruise. Fist day at sea today, we are heading to Aruba. A Celtics Laker Finals would be awesome, that is some old school. JUst the Lakers have to learn that they have to beat the Jazz on their home court. Anyway I will talk to all soon.

Hey there Noah (aka Johnna) don't you dare set sail in your ark without us LOL!!!!!!

Our weather here is finally going to staighten out, we still have been getting hard freezes at night, altohough tonight it is only suppose to get down to 39.

We had my newphews high school graduation party here last friday night, so I bought flowers for the yard, because of the cold nights I have been having to baby them all week..so far so good, hoping that after tonight they will be safe!!!!

This was the girls's last full week of school, they get out next Wed..so they are pretty excited about that, Ron is just as excited, as there will be no more 5th grade math papers to check everynight

I have been busy this week getting ready for VBS, I really do enjoy doing it, but around this time every year , I say this is going to be my last year LOL...Ron just says yah ..you say that EVERY year, only for me to say...but I really mean it this year LOL!!!!

Hope everyone has a great week...Mark and Johnna we would gladly take some of your rain LOL!!!!

So wishing our trip was closer!!!!! I am ready to go, I have been reading the Panama trip report from Little Aussie...if you haven't read it and you like trip reports you should check it out...she is sailing with her ex, there 2 girls and her parents...she has been reporting everyday, maybe that is why I'm wishing our trip was sooner LOL!!!!

Long weekend ahead for most of us. Just thought I'd check in and bump us up in case anyone is looking for us.

Hope everyone is looking forward to a great weekend. The Storys are planning on doing not much of anything! DC will be FILLED with tourists this weekend (there were a TON of them in my Starbucks this morning! ) so I'm sure we'll just spend the weekend between home and the pool and friends' houses having great barbeques! But maybe I'll sneak in an early jaunt to the zoo. The kids love it - okay, I love it too!

Leaving tomorrow for WDW! DD just finished her first year of teaching so she and her DBF are going with us to relax and soak up some sun.

Missouri has had a very wet and cool spring. Was supposed to be partly to mostly sunny today with a chance of an isolated shower this afternoon. Woke up to thunder and steady rain.

Just popping in to say HI Making sure the "I hate my cruise meets thread" is not here. Of course it is not about my dear dear friends. Guys, we went and plugged in airline cost for this trip and right now it is $756 per person for us.


Lady Story & BJ- I will call you or PM you soon. We are in the middle of moving. We close on our house Thursday. I am happy a nice little couple bought it from us. Shoot up a prayer it goes through without any problems. Talk with you soon. Still have not pulled the pictures from March off the memory card. I guess I have been a little busy.

Hi all,

Are we going to have an official cruise roster right in our thread? I know one poster was doing something along these lines and I sent a PM but never received anything??? For our last cruise I created and maintained a full listing of the first names of all of the adult cruisers and the ages/genders of the kids. As a result, our kids sent snail mail via PM info received to a number of kids their own age and ended up playing all week with their new-found friends. Should we create a separate kids thread closer to the actual cruise date?

Has anyone found any info out about St Croix? We won't know much from the DIS in time for the excursion booking dates. I hope DCL sends something with more advance notice than usual...
