Hi there.....we've been out of touch awhile....had some questions. Bear with me first time doing Disney Cruise AND FE's, lol...
1- Do we give to everyone in our group here??
2- Do we give to all everyday??
3- Are we assigned just certain families??
Just trying to figure out how much I need to buy....thanks!!
Oh different subject...we've heard that the best time to book our next Disney Cruise is DuRiNg our cruise right? Is it the same type of deal like booking normally where you can cancel anytime and just put a depoosit down to hold???

Each cabin will do 1 gift for each person on the list. Nearer the time we can sort out days to take the gifts around. On our last cruise we all picked a day so that the surprises kept coming, rather than everyone delivering them on the same day!

Do we all meet up as well, or is someone a contact? Just wondering what happens if someone upgrades at the port or is upgraded and changes room number, how are we all going to know?

LS on our last cruise we there was a meet and that was organised by a DIS member, sure someone will organise something nearer the time.

No-one upgraded at the port so it wasnt a problem. Nearer the time I will PM everyone for there room details and day they want to hand the gifts out etc and then I will PM everyone with room numbers etc.....

I found the FE thread! I feel so smart today

OK, there's 3 of us...

Me (Heather), Hubby (Jeff), & Reese (boy, 8). I agree...we've been on a Double Dip cruise and we did the FE and it was SO much fun! I loved sneaking around the halls delivering my surprises! And my son loved coming back to the room to see if there were any treats left...I still use some of my highlighters someone gave us!

Oooh!! Is it too late to add us, too? Like a lot of others, this is our first cruise. We are very excited! I ordered our FE already, on Etsy, and I am really looking forward to receiving it. It's so cute!

This looks like so much fun! I like the idea of splitting the groups into smaller sizes if there are a lot, but whatever the group decides, I am in! When will we have a complete count, do you think? I want to make sure I have the right amount of gifts for everyone.

Hi Everyone - looking forward to the cruise and the FEs! I'm dying to get started on my gifts but not sure how many - I know you're thinking of finalizing the list in January - how are folks starting their gifts w/o knowing how many!?

Any chance we can get a ballpark number of rooms/total adults/total kids? I know it might not be perfect but I'd like to get started & want to get an idea of #s.

Laurie, the last time I counted, there was around 65. I am just guestimating around 75 right now, and I have the idea what I want to do. I am waiting until it gets a little closer to start on my FE gifts, but my daughter and I have already figured out what they will be. It's going to be so much fun!

Hi everyone!
This is our first cruise and we are sooo excited!
I have been googling everything I can about Disney cruise! I saw some discussions about gift exchanges and fish extenders?! Sounds like so much fun! I can't wait to do this! I am already buying goodies. I need a fish extender, recommendations please!! Any tips or advice on gifts and how/ when to pass out gifts. Hi all,

I thought I would start a Fish Extender thread for our cruise.

We did FE's on our last cruise and it was great, the kids loved getting all the gifts ready. Then they really enjoyed taking them round the ship looking for the right doors. And most of all seeing their faces when we came back to our room and found loads of gifts was a picture.

Anyway enough of the waffle.

Hi,

I have added your details to the first post. So you can see you are definitely included.

I made my own FE but I know on the main FE thread there is a lot of talk about buying one off ebay. I think someone on here sells them on ebay, sorry don't really know much more than that.

As for the gifts we will all take gifts to everyone participating. I am doing a gift for each child in the room and then one for the adults between them.

Hi everyone! Hope you are all ejoying your holidays & for those that celebrate Christmas, are feeling relaxed as we roll into the big weekend!

I wanted to put our stateroom number on the main list...we are in Cabin 7592.

JewelSS asked about who to deliver the gifts to, and when we have done FE before, everyone did the whole boat. It made it lots of fun to explore other floors of the ship, & of course, it made giving more gifts even more fun...not to mention GETTING more gifts

Anyway--that's just my two cents. Have a great Thursday!!
