I was just going to ask if you ever sleep! Although lanyards would be nice, the wrist bands are great! You can still count on my contribution. Let me know if I can still just pay pal you.

You also could find me doing laundry and writing on the EBTA cruise last year at 3 am and on the WBTA i was up and down in the promedade lounge around 5 am working while I did laundry

UPDATE ON THE WRISTBANDS:

They have arrived! Unfortunately they are not in my hands - because of the long delivery date they gave me I had them sent to our hotel in Nashville we will be staying at before our flight - I ordered them on the Jan. 27 and they SHIPPED on January 28th - they had given me an estimated delivery date of Feb. 24 - they got to the hotel MONDAY - from Hong Kong!!!

So now I have to find someone in Jackson (where I live) who is going to Nashville and pick them up maybe - otherwise you know what I will be doing the night before our flight (I will have the baggies already with cabin numbers and names/sizes) so it will not take long

I will now say (since they have gotten here) - anyone who wants to contribute to the cost can do so via paypal: [/email] - please mark it as a gift and include your DIS name so I can put it on the card with the bands so everyone knows who the gifts are from.

Or if you want to contribute but not via Paypal - just email me with the amount and how you want to send the money (or just give it to me on the ship) so I can include you on the card!

Thanks to anyone who donates - we have 99 cruisers on the official spreadsheet and with everything that brings the total for the wristbands, including packaging, to be $45 - donate whatever you want - or none at all - I ordered them expecting to pay the full amount so you do not have to contribute, but like I said I will be glad to accept some help!

I only sent it to those who didn't reply here on the thread. I am thinking 2:30...just so its not too rushed.

Hey, are you having any re-consideration of your cabana rental after reading the reviews? I am having some second thoughts, but will still probably keep ours.

Nope. I could care less if I see a CM. I have 3 kids and want it for a shady place to relax, with a less crowded beach area.

Even if they never refresh anything, it has what I want. After 8 trips to CC, and this one likely to be very crowded I am looking forward to a place where its less crowed.

What cabana did you get? We are in #5

It is a donation thing - if you want to contribute to the pot - there is bands for everyone - not just those who pay - so you will get one no matter what - it is just a way for us to identify "our group" - our cruise is sold out so we are a group of 99 in the "sea" of 4000 people - and it is not because we are more special than the other 3900 people - but it lets us say "hey that is someone who is (or part of their family) someone I have "met" on the DIS boards for this cruise!

I went ahead and ordered them willing to pay the whole $45 for our groups bands because after being on cruises that are very DIS heavy and having either lanyards or wristbands to identify us and then in January not having anything, I felt really lost because I could not pick anyone out of a crowd and I would have liked to have just said "hi" and not that I want to follow you around

So with that said, donate whatever you want - .50 cents, $5, $10 or nothing at all - I put it all together as a gift to the group, not as a way to "make money" or anything. I did order extras for wiggle room in sizes and stuff but i am only counting the price of the exact number we need for this cruise - no more. If donations come in and reach the $45 I will let everyone know that no more donations are needed. Hope that all makes sense!

We have a cabana for the March 3 cruise of our B2B because we are not in concierge on this cruise - but I am like others - I am looking forward to the private space - one or two bad reviews will not make me cancel. Of course the complaint the one review had was that no one came when they pushed the button, well if that happens to me I will go find out why they did not come! Maybe the button did not work or something - my thing is you give me lemons, and I want lemonaid, I go find the sugar and water if I need it.

Where in Nashville are you? I grew up in White House, we now live in Jackson. We are spending the night on the 25th there and then flying out on Sat. 26th

Our daughter Graycie was born on Sept 25th. I am so excited to share my love of Disney with her!! I have 3 boys also (12,8,5) So she is super spoiled

Awesome!! Good to hear there are others traveling with little babies. We will not have the grandparents along and it would have been nice to have someone who could watch him if we wanted to go to the adult areas or stay at dinner longer, etc. Oh well, we will learn a lot of lessons this trip I'm sure.

We have a cabana for the March 3 cruise of our B2B because we are not in concierge on this cruise - but I am like others - I am looking forward to the private space - one or two bad reviews will not make me cancel. Of course the complaint the one review had was that no one came when they pushed the button, well if that happens to me I will go find out why they did not come! Maybe the button did not work or something - my thing is you give me lemons, and I want lemonaid, I go find the sugar and water if I need it.

I for one, would be on the hunt rum to mix with those lemons....but it would be much better if the cabana host did the rum hunting. We reserved it for the ease of it with the kids, the privacy, BUT also the service (which we will tip well for). I am wondering if they are getting shorted on tips, hence not eager to provide the "option of cabana host" service.

two - just heard from a friend who stayed in concierge and her kids could put their hand through the gate and open it by the handle on the other side - she also said she saw adults doing it too - will get you into the hallway (but not lounge) Just an FYI for those delivering FE's to our concierge participating cabin

I'm in Nashville "proper," south of downtown, about 10 minutes from the airport, 25 minutes from downtown.

I'm flying out on the 24th. It's nice to be so close to the airport - someone can always drop me off and I can leave my car in the driveway.

BTW, has a time been set for a Meet on board?
