Dreamaker and Kim, it would be great to hook Glenn up with your sons. I would feel much better if he were with others. Like you said they can watch each others backs. Glenn will definitely love the arcade and other activities. Its to bad the dis boards doesn't have a section for cruisin teens to get to safely communicate with each other prior to going on the cruise.

We live in Enfield, just 15 minutes from Six Flags New England in Agawam, MA. I grew up in Willington, CT. Mom still lives there. Norman (DH) grew up in Windsor, CT. What town are you in, exactly?

When are you flying out of CT? Bradley?
We should hook up with Cajun Cruiser before the cruise to have our kids meet. I'd even host a cookout or something. No huge house here but plenty of yard and very homey.

We booked this cruise more than a year out. It is getting closer and closer. We are getting ready to look at airline prices soon. We are going down on Wednesday for a few days at Disney World before we start our cruise. Our granddaughters will be 10, 8, and 4. The 4 year old is really looking forward to seeing "Cinderella's house"!! She is really going to be excited to really meet Cinderella on the ship!! She was to little to understand the last time we cruised.

we were waiting for jet blue's flights to come out, but usairways ended up being cheaper and better times to fly. we made our flight arrangements today. One step closer....

vava ~ will you stay in orlando or closer to the ships the night before? my dh and I just took a dry run over to the ports 2 weekends ago. it was nice! saw the wonder and got really excited!!!!

our flight gets in around 10 on friday night. DH said he does not mind the drive at night and he would just like to get there so we do not have any worries in the am. so we will be staying at port canaveral the night before.

Hi everyone,

Add another family to the list of cruisers. We will be sailing with yall. It will be DH, me, DS 14, and DS 10. We would love to do a dis meet and greet just let me know when.

I can't wait to sail. This will be our 1st Disney Cruise. We surprised our boys with a cruise last Feb(not Disney) and they loved it. I'm the big Mickey fan in the house and this will be a dream come true for me.

I think DH felt sorry for me because when we asked the boys if they wanted to go to Disney World again or do another cruise, they picked a cruise. Never dreamed that DH would let us do a DISNEY CRUISE but he came through and I am so excited. Like dreamakermom it's all I think about

Hi Princess!!! Dreammaker mom here!!!!Glad you are all aboard with us!!!! I am traveling with my DH and my 4 children ages 25, 21, 16, 13 and my 4 yr old grandaughter AND my sisters family with her DH and 21 & 15 yr old.I never dreamed we would do a Disney cruise either but convinced DH it had to be Disney because we could enjoy the baby when we wanted to and we could drop her off when we needed to. Now he is getting to be all ears!! All MICKEY ears!!! I actually think the big boy himself is getting excited! Everytime he sees a Mickey anything on the road, he informs me!!!I am already practically packed and have half Christmas done by getting the kids things (collapsable coolers, and also one on wheels) and other cruise items. I am having a blast and at themoment I am working on Door magnets. Everyone thinks I am crazy for startiing so early but I say I am VERY prepared! Hope we get to meet.!!!!

When we went to Canaveral a few weeks ago to take a dry run for our Feb cruise... (I'm not anxious..... ) we stopped at the Perfect Gift and met Shirley and I set up a few orders, and then we went to dinner where she suggested and we also went on the Sterling Casino Ship (that was fun). My Dh would love for us to all (11 of us) go down the night before our cruise but that just is not happening... I have my whole itinerary planned!!! I am so bad!!!! Leaving a day early just does not work!!! Can anyone relate??!!!

We are from Louisiana. Our trip is an escape from Mardi Gras. The kids are out of school for three days so this makes it a great time for us to travel, only have to miss 2 school days. This will be our 3rd year taking a vacation the week of Mardi Gras and we love it.

Can't wait to board the Magic and see the mouse

Looking forward to meeting everyone. I'll have to bring Mardi Gras beads for yall. I don't think they make them in lime green but I will look

Well I have been off the dis for awhile, we have been busy with broken wrist and legs thank goodness I purchased insurance for the trip. HaHa. Kshabare we won't be able to get together before the cruise because we live in Louisiana and we will be flying in the day of departure but hopefully we can meet shortly there after.

Cajun Princess, what part of Louisiana are you from? We are from Lafayette and we are also escaping Madi Gras. We can also bring some beads to, I have a closet full of them.

Cajun Cruiser! OMG - hope you are rehab-ing well. How on earth could you have broken that much? (My immediate thoughts were a 300 lb. Italian man but I'm sure that's not the case.) I'm glad I won't have to take you off the list.

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. We are from Tolland. Small world! What are the ages/genders of your kids again? Have you booked your airfare yet? We are flying out of Bradley but have not booked yet, waiting for the prices to come down. Last year when we cruised, we paid about $200 each round trip! Can't get close to that now!

Actually it isn't me, It is my 13 y/o son. I think will have to put him in a bubble. Does DCL allow that. HaHa. He broke his leg in May. Got off of crutches for two weeks then fell off of skate board and probably broke his wrist, it is in a splint and we will find out Tuesday if it is broken or not, but looking at the x-rays my educated guess would be "yes". These things have become normal in my household so we don't stress over them anymore. Thank you for your concern.
