FEBRUARY 2020 - ALL WAITLIST?

Does anyone know why the first weekend of February is completely booked? Princess Half is towards the end of the month. Thoughts? Do you think a waitlist might come through or any experience with this?

Because you are trying to book 3 months in advance. DVC is designed to be full 365 days a year. People have learned to book early.

As far as a waitlist, my feeling is, what do you have to lose? You can make a cash reservation and set the waitlist to expire at the cancellation deadline. People make changes all the time.

I had an extremely difficult time booking around Presidents Weekend next Feb as well. Absolutely nothing available when I tried two months ago. I just stalked the DVC Member website daily and eventually found something.

It’s definitely to do with the short notice for the trip. But, keep checking...things change all the time. You can also put in a waitlist to help.

Maybe look for a different room size might help?

Any race weekend is a tough weekend at any resort, even at 11 months.
