I really want to take my two kids to Disneyland to see the 60th anniversary celebration, but I don't think it's going to work out for this summer...do you think the fireworks, parade, diamond castle, etc. will all still be on next February? And is early February a quieter time to go (not sure if there really is a quiet time anymore)?

I don't think they've announced an end date for the 60th anniversary celebration yet. The current guesses that it should run at least one year, but it might extend through the summer of 2016. Information is likely to be posted to this thread as it comes available:

In terms of crows...in general February is not considered part of the peak periods, but that does not mean the parks will be empty. HydroGuy has a thread the talks about higher versus low season. I'd caveat it to add that in February, the Presidents' Day weekend tend to be busy (because it's a three day weekend). Also, some school districts have the week off around Presidents Day, which increases crowds. I was tracking some events and school breaks, so you can take a look to get a sense of how 2015 looked (as a guide for what 2016 might look like).
