i had heard of people getting magic band notifications 60 days out

60 days out- you no longer need a notification or invitation.

Feb 21-24 for me! Running the Enchanted 10k on the 22nd! Staying at OKW! First stay at a Deluxe!! 110 days!!!!!

Coo! Your first stay in a deluxe! OKW is one of my dream resorts to try! Is it your first time running the Enchanted too or have you run a Disney run before?

We are going back for a short trip from 2/25 to 3/1, staying at the WL again.

We are surprising my son with this trip when we pick him up at school to go to the airport. His birthday is 2/26 and he will be turning 8. He thinks we won't be going back until 2015. I can't wait to see his excitement!

This will be our 2nd time in February, but we've been at the end of January and the beginning of March in recent years, too. The weather varies. We've been able to swim all times but we've also had temps of up to 85 and as low as 45.

A surprise birthday trip! Sounds like a great way to celebrate!

Can you add us to the list? POFQ Feb. 8th-15th, then trying a LM room at AOA through the 18th. Myself, DH, DS11 and DS8. Eighth trip for the boys, 11th for DH, and twenty-something for myself!

Welcome and yes, you are added to the list! Have you stayed at PORFQ before? That is where I will be staying and it will be our first time at PORFQ. I am really looking forward to trying it out!

This will be our first February trip. I'm a little worried about the weather and sad Splash will be shut down, but I'm hopeful that will be offset by manageable crowd levels. Definitely thrilled about trying Port Orleans for the first time and our ADRs.

Re: FP+, so I'll just be able to sign up at the 60 day mark? No codes, no notification?

Thank you mdsouth! I just noticed our trips overlap a few days and we're both at POFQ. We did stay there on our last trip this past May. It was our first time staying at a mod after many stays at deluxes (renting points) and we found it very comfortable. The boys loved the pool; I thought it might be too calm for DS11 but he was fine. They also loved the arcade, the food court had good choices and we all LOVED how compact it is! One bus stop which was never busy, no long waits for buses, no matter which bldg. you were in it's not a long walk anywhere! We were in bldg. 7 which is the farthest from food court & main bldg., but was still no more than a 5 min. walk. Another thing we loved about the size was that, being small, we were comfortable letting the boys go in the arcade while we finished eating In the food court, or letting older DS go refill his mug alone while we were in the room. I'm sure you'll love it! It's also nice walking over to POR. Boat to DTD is slow, but a very pretty ride.

This got my blood pumping this morning but I will have to wait until after our November trip to customize new bands for February. When I went to MDE I learned that I would have to deactivate my current band to customize a new one. Now I have one more thing to fit in between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

We are surprising our kids with their first ever trip. They are home when UPS, FedEx, and UPS deliver (late in the day where we are).

I just saw we can customize our bands now for our Feb trip thanks to this thread It says to choose an address to send them to. If I have them sent to DH's work, will that create any issue down the road? I don't want them delivered here. We are telling them about the trip on Christmas Day. I imagine I'd want to customize the bands prior to that, otherwise that's only like 5 weeks before our trip.

Any foreseeable issue with sending them to an address other than your home address?

Not scrapbooksellman, but I didn't receive any notice. I saw threads here about Feb, and then when I log into MDE, there was an option under Magic Bands to customize.

Scrapbooksellman, after reading some posts on this thread I checked my MDE account. After logging in, on the side one of the options used to say"manage(I think) magic bands". As of this morning it said "personalize magic bands". After clicking on it, it brought up a screen that showed I had 4 MB's ordered - actually 8 as we have a split stay, so one for each of us at each resort- and a button to click to "confirm address". After clicking that a screen came up that said something to the effect of confirming my address will lead to my being able to customize MB's. Didn't go any farther as my time is limited today so going to customize tomorrow. So no emails or mail of any kind about customizing. To sure if anyone is receiving any type of mail like that anymore, I think it's just a random check your MDE thing now Hope this helped or at least didn't confuse you!
