February 2014 Code watch

OK I am SO awful at math so maybe someone can verify if I did this correctly... If we did SPD for my family (2 adults, one 12 year old, one 6 year old, and one 2 year old) for February 15-22 then we would ALL pay tickets and dining plan prices as if we were in the age 3-9 category?

This is what I have broken down:

Room only (Allstar Movie Resort): 1170.00

Tickets (4 seven day Base tickets and age 3-9): 41.43/day x7= 290.01 x4=
1160.04

Dining: 4 people at age 3-9 cost 15.75/day. So 15.75 x7= 110.25 x4= 441.00

Then I add it all up to be 1170.00 + 1160.04 + 441= 2771.04

I probably did it wrong, I SUCK at math! HAHA!

Oh and if I book today with hopes of this discount I can add the discount as soon as it becomes available to Disney Visa carriers? I will be using that card to book...

Free dining will not be offered.. It's going to be play/stay/dine.
The pins have already gone out.
Should be book able as a general public offer the 1st week of October.
The deadline for the Pincode is mid September. Watch for it to be released as a Disney visa offer shortly after that. About a week after the Dis Visa offer is out it should be book able as a general public offer.

My pin expired July 28. Do you think it pays to call and see if it's still valid? The only reason I question this is because of your comment that the deadline is mid-September. I found it odd that I got the e-mail right around July 15 and the deadline was July 28. I'm probably more bitter than anything else that I didn't jump on it.

I apologize. After 21 pages I realize I'm a little late to the party. I didn't go back and read everything so more apologies. Is the cost of the DDP the same for deluxe resorts as it is moderates? Want to do some math calculations and determine if I'm better off with a room only discount or the s/p/d deal. Only two adults traveling.

Have one more question because I'm confused. With the s/p/d, are you paying the DIFFERENCE between the adult and child price, or are you paying the CHILD price? It seems like it's been mentioned both ways here. And if someone who is really good at this can simply tell me how much I would pay for two adults on the regular dining plan, staying at a deluxe, I would vey much appreciate it. The regular dining plan, not QS and not deluxe. Thanks!

My understanding of the previous Stay/Play/Dine offers, and the one that's expected to be released, is that adults pay the child prices for both theme park tickets and dining plans.

The 2014 regular dining plan prices are:
$58.66 per night per adult or junior (ages 10-17)
$18.88 per night for children (ages 3-9)

So if I have this right you'd be paying $18.88 per night per person for the regular dining plan.

(This post will also help test if I'm understanding S/P/D correctly. :goodvibes)

I haven't seen one yet, but if someone does I would love to join!! I loved the FB group for my last trip!

Many are using the 2013 page then usually when there is enough interest someone starts a 2014 and everyone moves over

This is true if you are staying in a mod or deluxe. If you are staying in a value, you are only eligible for the QSDP at child prices, then you need to pay additionally on top to upgrade to DDP.

how do you get these pin codes! we are disney visa card holders and have gotten nothing..we would like to go feb 8-14 but it looks like everything moderate standard rooms are booked~?

Don't fret you aren't the only person to try and book online and be told there were no rooms. They aren't fully booked, Disney online booking has "issues" right now. It won't work and then 5 minutes later is does. Right now your best bet is to call to make reservations. As far as the pin codes there is not an active one right now unless you are a UK resident. The last one that went out expired at the end of July. If you are a Disney Visa card holder the P/S/D deal should become avalible to you at the end of September.:)

Thank you for putting my mind at ease!!! :thumbsup2

Did the moderate prices just go up? Eek....

There was price hike on all resorts as of June 2013. So yes, prices have risen. Thus, the masses waiting for the S/P/D deal. It won't decrease the cost of your room but it takes the edge off the package price.

I'm a wreck waiting for something. We are planning either the last week of February (arrive 22nd) or the first week of March. I want to book, but then I don't want to book!

Right! Although I was specifically answering the question from eeyoreland about how much the regular dining plan would cost if staying at a deluxe resort under the expected S/P/D offer.
