February 2010

So, as I may or may not have already said.... while my DH and I have both been do Disney before, we haven't been in twenty years! My question is....should I be working on detailed daily plans for our trip? I have seen all of the trip reports on TouringPlans, and am thinking about adapting them for our own preferences. What do you all do? I need some advice from some veterans, please!:thumbsup2

Tina, while it doesn't need to be detailed, you should have a basic outline for what you are going to do each day. Your day can be based around your ADRs, Morning or Evening Early Magic Hours, parades/shows or whatever your particular preferences are.

I tend to be pretty detailed, but that's me. If you have questions, let me know.

Mrs D. You've been added to the list!:thumbsup2

Thanks, Jordan! We are staying at Wilderness Lodge, courtyard view if you want to add that.

I've enjoyed reading your pre-trip report. Actually I haven't had time to read the whole thing, but I'm trying.

Mrs. D :cool1:

I have never been one to have strict plans to follow. I like to have general ideas of what I'm going to do what days just for ADR purposes, but besides that I don't like to plan. When on vacation I just like to play it all by year and see whatI feel like doing each day.

Thanks, Jordan. Been working my way through your PTR, too. I have us scheduled in terms of what days at what parks, based around ADR's and evening EMH's. Just wondering if I should plan out what order we should try to do things once we get to the parks... What harm would it do, I suppose? :confused3 And I just get more and more obsessive as the blessed day approaches.

If you like alot of the FP attractions, you should at least plan those. Toy Story Mania, RNRC, Soarin, Test Track, Space Mtn, BTMRR come to mind.

We will be staying from February 4th to the 12th. We are staying one night at Pop then moving to CSR! Our first time at both places. I can't wait.

Let's hope the weather is going to be nice.
