Hey Warriors!

Did 5 miles yesterday and 3 today. It's soooo cold... (OK, 35 degrees isn't that cold to all of you, but it almost did me in!) I'll keep track of my monthly totals, just like telling people who understand and care. :thumbsup2

Lily- My Mii is totally chubby! Emma's is really skinny (much more than real life would call for). Turns out she told it she was about 5 inches taller than she is... so you can trick your Mii if you want! (She really thought she was the height she put in and wasn't trying to cheat, but I've noticed she hasn't corrected it yet...:rolleyes: )

Marcia - If you need a place to record your workouts, Tracy's spreadsheet is very easy to use. SHe just needs your e-mail to invite you.
 

Hey so excited to see all of the Wii activity. Tracy look at you go!

I'm just in from physio- managed to develop shin splints now too apparently- why does no-one warn you about the book of injuries you'll be able to write when you start running! Anyway, yesterday managed 45mins (4.2miles) of treadmill hills and stretching. Sorry for not posting yesterday- went straight out for a few drinks... enough said! Today i've logged 30 mins strengthening exercises.

I will keep track of my times and mileage and report at the end of the month. I'm going to keep posting daily though. Posting is the motivation that gets me out the door to go work-out.

I had a breakthrough today! I did my warmup walk and when I started jogging- it felt great! Usually starting to jog just feels like... ugh i'm jogging. Today my legs went "WOO!! JOGGING!" lol Sorry my descriptions are odd :rotfl: But it was so great- Got in about 1.5 miles - 30 minutes. May do some pilates tonight. I'll report if I do :)

I will keep up with my totals and make one big report at the end of the month. I will try to continue weekly to report on weight progress and anything interesting that comes up but as for the mileage total I will just give you one big number (hopefully) at the end of the month. Thanks for your hard work:cheer2:
 
I did 825 yards swimming yesterday.

Are we counting January miles?? If so I'll get mine up asap. I'll post my stuff as I do it, but put a total up monthly for yall's convenience.

It is actually COLD here, and down into the 20's tonight & tomorrow!! ACK!!!

Jenn, LOL about DD and her Mii. I think I'd have to be pretty tall too. I did not use it yesterday. Well, it gave me some smart remark about being too busy. The thing has an attitude.

Carrie, I did 15 min today and only a couple of my first Yoga ever. Oooh, I think it will be interesting.

I don't know if the benefit is there, but this machine is pretty smart. I did 3 hours of snow removal today. Not all at the same time. I too a break between. It was the light fluffy feather snow, only we got about 12 inches of the stuff and it is still snowing. Ugh. I look forward to the outdoor w/o tomorrow. I do.

Ken - No, we arent' countign January. That was more of a grace period to recover from marathon and get new people on teams.

LIly - I think you will feel teh yoga. Just in teh fact that your body feels good after. May have to get to where more is unlocked, though.

I did 40 min swimming last night. 0.53 miles. First 10 min wa sform work though. I hate that stuff. Feels liek I'm moving backwards. It did help, though. :upsidedow Then, I went home and did another 16 min on teh wii fit. SO fun! My balance needs so much help. Still, I can feel my core when I do the balance stuff too.
 
I did more snow removal. I'm being careful to not over-do. I placed my numbers on the Google doc. I think it's easy enough. Thanks for getting it started for us.

I'll play Wii fit later.
 
Carrie glad you think of me when you jump on wiifit! My little mii is the only one on there who isn't slumped over asleep these days :rotfl:

Kat sorry you have nasty shins too! Yep as warriors we can tackle anything so we'll be fine! Your leg breakthorugh sounds amazing- hope you have the biggest smile ever right now.

Went out in the snow this morning. Ok lets just get this into perspective it's about 1 inch deep! Even so i got the foot squidge noise when i ran! Love it. 4.5 careful miles 42mins and 15 mins of strength and stretch exercises.
 
Hi Warriors!!

I will probably post my miles/minutes every other day or so, but will also keep track myself, so I can post a monthly total. tracy, I got to the spreadsheet have started to put mine on there. So easy to do!

I did 30 minutes of core/strength yesterday and 4 miles on the TM today, I did 2 20 minutes sets of the Week 2 C25K intervals! It felt great!

Keep up the great work everyone!

I will post regularly.

Yesterday = 4 mile run plus some core for 1 hour even.
Today = 30 miles on the bike! (Stationary as it was -20 here! :sad2: ) 90 minutes.

4 weeks until my tri. I have to start adding some swim sessions in.
 
LOL, I finally turned on my Wii Fit today and my poor little Wii me was slumped over sleeping and I felt guilty because I haven't logged on in so long! Now, since I started it up again..over an hour tonight...I'll have to keep going so I don't feel so guilty when I turn it on again!

Jim ~ I can't believe you actually went outside to run in that COLD weather!
 
Hey Warriors!!

I did 4 miles yesterday in 58 degrees!! (that's cold for me!)
I did aobut an hours worjt. I don't have my laptop to put my Garmi's info on because it is going off to visit the people at Dell for a bit of a vacation. Long story short, my Aunt accidentally moved it and it fell on the floor and then wouldn't work. Talked to a few people and tried a few things and that didn't work. I then started looking for a new laptop with WIN XP (i am avoiding VISTA) and saw some for 500-700 for what I what looking for. I then went on Dell to check out my laptop's status and it was elligle for a warranty extension and I could add accident coverage for a total of 162. So I went with that. Called them the next day and said , "Oh you're covered for anything!" hehe. So we tried a few things and couldn't get it to work, so I am waiting for the box to send it back. Guy thinks something on the motherboard is wrong. So I am now working on my Dad's old laptop.

Marcia and Erika, I send invites so you can use the spreedsheet.

Also I have moved everyone that is using it over to the left so it will be earier to find your name.
Hopefully I will figure out how to add sheets to it. (That will take me a few days of working with it!)

Hopefully my cross training today will be washing, waxing and vacumming the car! Will wait till it gets a bit warmer. It's 51 right now.
