Hello,

My family is going to Disney World Feb 5 - 12. We are so excited!! Any insight on how the crowds will be? We are staying at Pop and we are on the dining plan. Thanks for any advice or suggestions.

We will be there the same days you are this year staying at Carribbean beach. For the past 7 years we always went the week before, but I dont expect it to be significantly different. After 9/11, you could litterally walk on anyride you want. But each year the crowds are getting bigger, partly because the word is getting out that it is the best time to go. It is a subjective thing but I dont think the crowds are that bad atleast compared to going in july. The narrow streets will always seem crowded. Getting dining adr are always iffy for a particular time especially at the more popular table service restaurants so try and make reservations before you leave. It is possible to make them at that day but again it will be hard to get a good time. The times before fantasmic, wishes and illuminations get booked fast.If you are thinking of CRT, check out the new ding policy. The max time waiting for the most popular rides may be about 20min give or take, compared to an hour and a half during the summer. Alot are 5-10 min. Alot depends on the time of day, parade times, and show times and its location. For shows like fantasmic, people start showing up an hour before to get the best seats. Some rides will be closed for annual refurbs, but some will be back up by the middle of that week like Buzz light year. Around that general time of year they host a lot of chearleading competitions so you will see them around but its not a big impact on crowds. They usually stay at the moderate resorts I think. The weather is usually any where between high 60's and low 80's. a couple of years it was in the low 60's so take some warmer clothes especially for the nights(jeans ,sweatshirt, light jacket). I could go on and on so if you want to know anything more specific post back.

Hope this helps

Hey! We'll be there Feb 3-11 staying at POFQ    We usually go in March so I don't know how the crowds will be. I think that some schools have a winter break sometime in Feb, but not sure when that is. I bet it won't be too crowded, at least I hope not :wave2:

We were there that week 2 years ago and it was great. No lines on anything during the week. Didn't fast pass at all. My son roade space mountain 4 times back to back because there were no lines. On the weekend it was more crowded at MK and had to fast pass but I'm sure nothing like summer crowds. Would definately pick february again. The weather was shorts during day and pants at night. Have a great trip :earsboy:

My brother always goes at the beginning or very end of Feb. and they never have much of a wait. I've gone during President's week the last two years and it was busy but not as horrible as many make it sound. That is the week that most schools in New York State are on winter break. And if you don't ski, where would you rather be in Feb.?
Weather is iffy. Two years ago it got down to 39 on our first night. But last year it was 80 on our first day.
Have a great time!
