We will be there the same days you are this year staying at Carribbean beach. For the past 7 years we always went the week before, but I dont expect it to be significantly different. After 9/11, you could litterally walk on anyride you want. But each year the crowds are getting bigger, partly because the word is getting out that it is the best time to go. It is a subjective thing but I dont think the crowds are that bad atleast compared to going in july. The narrow streets will always seem crowded. Getting dining adr are always iffy for a particular time especially at the more popular table service restaurants so try and make reservations before you leave. It is possible to make them at that day but again it will be hard to get a good time. The times before fantasmic, wishes and illuminations get booked fast.If you are thinking of CRT, check out the new ding policy. The max time waiting for the most popular rides may be about 20min give or take, compared to an hour and a half during the summer. Alot are 5-10 min. Alot depends on the time of day, parade times, and show times and its location. For shows like fantasmic, people start showing up an hour before to get the best seats. Some rides will be closed for annual refurbs, but some will be back up by the middle of that week like Buzz light year. Around that general time of year they host a lot of chearleading competitions so you will see them around but its not a big impact on crowds. They usually stay at the moderate resorts I think. The weather is usually any where between high 60's and low 80's. a couple of years it was in the low 60's so take some warmer clothes especially for the nights(jeans ,sweatshirt, light jacket). I could go on and on so if you want to know anything more specific post back.
Hope this helps
