February 20, 2011 DREAM

Thanks for updating!!

Oh...and were you REALLY posting at 4AM??? I'm falling asleep at my desk just thinking about having to get up that early!!

yes I was, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and in the computer is on I'll post sometimes and then go back to sleep. Only times I've been up at 4:00am was project graduation when I graduated High School or once when I was on a cruise:cool1:, hopefully there will be more late nights on the Dream as well:goodvibes

Hahahahaha...great you can go BACK to sleep! If I got up and stopped to post, I'd get distracted and never get back to sleep.

As for late nights on the Dream...no prob...there will be all those lovely deck chairs everywhere to grab a midday nap! :thumbsup2

nice, I expect to see you in the night club at night then while on the Dream, I know I'll be there:cool1:

Speaking of nightclubs, how late are they open? What about the teen and tween club and the other activities? How late does everything run? I am planning on not sleeping very much so that I can do everything possible!

well on the Magic/Wonder, Rockin Bar D or Wavebands is usually open till 2:00am with Diversions and the other place(can't remember name right now close earlier.

Teen club is usaully open till 2:00am and tween club I thinl closes about 12:00am

On the Dream I'm going to guess Evolution will closer later then other night clubs, but with other places/bars not sure, we will have to wait till navigators and people come back from the first cruise to know for sure

We are another MA resident looking at at least 18 inches of snow. It will be here until March probably. So on the snow day we, me and DD6, watched the cruise line DVD just to cheer us up!

Welcome Aboard! I have a DD15 1/2, wondering if they would want to meet up on the ship or chat before hand. Drop me a pm if interested! There is a group of 10 yr old girls in touch with each other as well.

We, as a family can't wait to scope out the new ship either!

Sounds great...I will send you a pm later. I also have a DD who is 10 and a DS who is 8. The girls aren't home right now so hopefully we can hook them up later.

Thanks!

Hi everyone!! We'll be on this February 20th sailing; it's a just girls trip with me, my mom, sister, cousin, 3 aunts and one step mom. :thumbsup2 We are SO excited!!

That would be great, my other DD is 10 as well. She is part of the group of girls emailing each other.

Anyone doing universal pre-cruise? We haven't been in so long since we are always going to WDW that the kids want to try universal because of HP. Staying at the HRH for 4 nights before.

Sending you a PM with my DD's 11 & 9.5 info that are part of the email group so you're DD can be added to the group:goodvibes

35 more days till the cruise:cool1::cool1::thumbsup2:thumbsup2:goodvibes:goodvibes

can't wait to meet all you guys:cool1:

has anyone else heard the the cruise staff doesn't run as many adult activities as on Magic/Wonder? I read that, of course the person who said that was on a preview cruise, so hopefully the only reason they weren't hosting much is because they didn't do as much activities on the preview cruises as they will on regular ones:goodvibes

I read that too! But you are probably right since these cruises are mainly preview they probably are not doing what they normally will do at least we hope. We love interacting with the cruise staff and love to participate in both the family and adult activities:goodvibes Can't believe how close we are to the actual sail date:banana: Looking forward to meeting everyone:thumbsup2

Totally getting excited- especially with the initial information that is coming in from the preview Dream cruises! I can't wait to see a 'Navigator' from the first 'regular' cruise.

Question for y'all- for those of you who are going to be at WDW before our cruise- how are you opting to get from WDW to the port? If you have done the town car thing- who have you had consistently good service with?

Can't wait to meet up with you too!

Liz

Hey Liz,

There are 8 of us going from WDW and we checked into a few different options, rental cars, Disney transport, town car. We have used Tiffany Town car service before and they have a van option that can carry up to 10 or 12 people and lots of room for luggage and the price tag for the 8 of us one way is $170 plus tip. We have used them twice before and the service has been top notch, very punctual and friendly! This proved to be the cheapest option I found. We are doing a B2B but 3 of our party isn't, so they are going straight to the airport after the 4 day cruise and the 5 of us are probably going to rent a car and pick it up @ Port Canaveral after our cruise. We are staying a few extra days and are planning to just wing it for the 3 days following the cruise. We haven't booked our rental car yet but if we use Budget, we can drop it off @ downtown Disney or the airport w no drop-off fee.
