I forgot to mention my friend just got back a few weeks ago. They drive down from southern mass every summer. She always says the trip down is great as everyone cant wait. It is the return that is tougher as everyone is tired. But it cant be too bad as they keep doing it. Good luck. I would love to drive but with medical issues in our family now it will never happen. Too long sitting for one.

My DD will be 11 on the cruise. I am sure she would love an email buddy. What is a PM that someone listed. We are heading off on our vacation camping then off to the White Mountains Labor day for the rubber ducky races. We are looking at hotels again. Was looking at the all stars to save money for shore trips and $ for parks but I read on line there is a cheer competition the week we will be there pre/post cruise. So off to the computer again.

We are going too!!! I am so excited, as I'm sure everyone else here is. This will be our first cruise. Well, actually I went on one in high school for my senior trip, but I'm not really counting that. Anyway, it's me (Renee), my DH, DD who will be 10, and DS 7. My in-laws are thinking about coming too, but they haven't decided yet.

We originally were thinking of going to Disneyland in August using DVC points. But when we sat down and figured it all out, we are using less points this way. And we'd much rather do this!!!

I've been reading alot on here the past few days. I have alot to learn! We definitely want to do the FE too, so I'll be signing up there in a minute.

My DS is 7, and would love if anyone wants to email him too. He doesn't have his own email (my DD does), but we can do it through me. He has some issues that we are still trying to figure out (seems to be Aspbergers, but don't have an official diagnosis yet). He's a great kid with lots of excitement. And it might be helpful if he had some sort of connection with somebody ahead of time.

We ordered ours last year from gradysmom on Ebay. Very easy to order and you pick out colors and fabrics. It took about 3-4 weeks to get. It came out great. Not at home computer but I will post a pic of ours later today or tomorrow.

Hi Everyone! It's been awhile since I posted - been super busy moving my mom and grandmother here to GA from NY and then school started on August 2nd

My DS will be 11 and my DD will be 8 at the time of cruising and it would be great for them to have some emails pals and get to know before they get on the ship. My DD has a friend from Australia that she met this way and then hung out with during our cruise last September and they continue to stay in touch now

So, feel free to send me a PM if any of your kids would like to "meet" them. They don't have their own email addresses but don't mind doing it through mine.

Less than 200 days to go - it will be 100 before we know it. I am going to try to keep up on the group more!!

Hi everyone! Can't wait until next week so I can book my airfare (Southwest). Then I am all set. Booked post cruise at Beach Club Hotel.

We leave in Massachusetts and are planning to drive straight through the night to Flordia. We have done it many times in the past with our three children. It always goes REALLY smoothly for us. We've already put out the word that our kiddos would like new DVDs, travel games, trinkets, or DS games at Christmas for our long drive!

Hey could use some advice about driving in February. I don't think we can spend $2300 (or want) to fly. We live in MA too. How long does it take you? Do you drive straight through? Where do you stop?

I've been reading the FE threads in the main cruise forum and getting excited. There are alot of amazing things that people have made. I have no clue what we'll be doing, but it's been fun seeing all the other gifts.

So 2 weeks or so ago, we decided to take a cruise over Feb break and booked the 7 day Magic. DH wanted to go on the new ship, but in my hasty research I didn't realize the Dream was only 3/4 nights and told him it wasn't available. After we booked, I did some more reading and found this 4 night cruise. We tossed around the idea of switching over the past couple days and adding a couple nights at WDW or USF. Then discovered the B2B option. Went to look online again tonight and the cruise wasn't available. DH called DCL directly, and as it turns out, we got the last available cabin for Feb 20. We decided to do the B2B on Feb 24 and luckily the same cabin was available! Love how things are falling into place as this has been slightly overwhelming lol. I could plan a trip to WDW with my eyes closed but this is our first cruise experience. We're looking forward to joining you... It will be me, DH and our two DDs, 17 (turning 18 six weeks later) and 15 at time of sailing.

I have to change my ticker and sig, but too tired tonight!
