Happy Holidays to all!

PhotoLisa: Love the tshirt/door design. My Daniel is the 18 year old, I think. He was 17 until November, so I hope I pmed the correct age. Old age creeping up--don't remember :confused3

Well it is finally looking like Christmas here, and I am hoping that we can go skiing tomorrow, we have been enjoying being lazy, eating too much and staying up late, I do love having the week off between Christmas and New year.

THe cruise is still in the back of my mind and I am still wondering about the banana boat ride and wether, I should just take my chances and sign uo if the weather is warm enough.......

Lisa those graphics are great! Thanks so much for going through all that trouble for everyone. I'll definitely figure out how to print it out cause I know Madison will love that.

We were in WDW until Christmas and had a great time. It was crowded but not as bad as I was expecting so that was a bonus. Next time we'll be back is for a Pirate and Princess Party right before the cruise!!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Henry has grown so much since you last updated the photo in your signature!!!

Glad to hear that you were able to enjoy a little warmer weather for a bit and that the crowds were managable to WDW during your visit!

Yes, he is huge! Henry is at 4 months the size my daughter was at about 8 months. He's 27 inches and over 17 pounds. It's so amazing to me after Madison who was on the small side to have this huge baby. I told my husband that he'll make me want another one sooner since I feel like I'm getting cheated on his infancy!

Hi everyone!!
I spent alot of time catching up.

Lisa, thank you sooooo much for all that work! My Danny is 17 years old. I can't wait to suprise the kids with these.

Ok, I am craft-challenged...can you tell me exactly what to do? Do I save this file to a disc and bring it to the printer? Help!

Ursula

:thanks: Thanks Lisa!! I too am a little computer challenged, so if you could give specific directions on how to transfer the names, what paper you used... I would appreciate it.

I just got back from picking up 2 of my boys from baseball camp. While I was there, the coaches started telling the kids and parents about a new clinic they will be doing in February. I thought it sounded like it will be good, so I turned to my friend and asked if she was signing her son up because I thought mine would like to go. She looked me straight in the eye and so sweetly said "DUH!" I was a bit taken back by her response. She started laughing at me--then  the lightbulb went on...WE WILL BE ON THE CRUISE!!! I have not thought too much about it lately, but  !!!
(I just had to let that out!)

I think we may be all done planning for our trip. Now what am I suppposed to do:confused3 ? I guess I can work off the holiday pounds :scared1: and start those projects I have been talking about...There's also my poor neglected scrapbooks...

Seriously though. We have been debating on what to do on St.Maarten. We have decided that we are hopping a cab to Dawn Beach. Friends of ours that have a timeshare there said it's a gorgeous beach, and are going to try to dig up some photos. That was really our last decision (I think), or at least our last big decision.

How are everyone else's plans coming?
Maybe after the New Year we can styart thinking about some meets?

we are also done with our plans, and we are just dreaming of our vacation, just 7 weeks away, 49 days :beach:
I would love to do a meet it seems that 3:00 p.m. on the first day works well, last cruise we did 3:00 p.m. by the mickey pool near the ice cream, and it worked well for the kids, we also tried to have green something and some of us met in the terminal :dance3:
Camille is typing with me and love the smilies:mickeyjum

Hey guys!

I'll see if I can head over to the DISigns forum here and see if I can find a link to the information on how to transfer the images to transfer paper and what to do with it afterward.

:)

Ok - I'm back with the link.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=892906

Scroll down and read through the first post on the thread. As you scroll down, you'll see directions for printing along with suggestions for the transfer paper. The directions will tell you how to flip your design, which programs you can use to do it and give you tips on preparing the fabric that you'll be using to put your transfer on.

If there is a local shop that does transfers, you might contact them and ask if they could transfer the image to your fabric for you. They have those nifty machines that know the exact temperature and even pressure. I'm going to attempt this for the ones I'm doing this year.

Now . . . don't go over to the Creative DISigns forum and get lost forgetting where this thread is! ;)

Are we officially starting the document watch yet? There will be plenty of us doing the document dance pretty soon!!!!

The only thing I have left to do officially is to find an excursion for Cozumel for week 2 of our cruise. I need to do that today. I still have the 4 names to work on for the guys and still have door decorations I want to do.

Today will be YUCKY -- majorly YUCKY as far as weather goes. Flash flood warnings and LOTS of rain streaming up from the Gulf of Mexico. I need to get out to get my media credentials for the Sugar Bowl game (1/3/07) but I don't want to drive to New Orleans with the rain and winds whipping like they are supposed to be. That means I can't make it to Michael's to get the items I need to design our door either. The only consolation is that its not cold -- 67 degrees at 8:30 am.

May the next 48 days fly by!!!

I had an idea.
How about we start a thread for the kids? Maybe title it "February 17, 2007/kid's thread" or something like that? My kids are looking to connect with others, and this may be easier than sending everyone's e-mails to everyone. Once they are on the thread, they can PM each other with e-mail addresses if they want... Any thoughts?

Sue:

I'll point Courtney and Kelli in the right direction if you do that. Their main point of contact with friends is myspace . . . that is okay for the older kids but not for the younger set. Each group can decide how to communicate once they get to know each other.

Post a link in this thread.

Oh . . . Court had the flu this week! UGHHHH -- at least it was before the cruise. She woke up 2 days ago saying it felt as though someone was punching her all over her body. She went to the doctor and started drugs immediately and was feeling better 24 hours later . . . thank goodness!

Pour Courtney. The flu is awful. I have been sick with various ailments since November, but I'll take them all over the flu! The one time I had the flu was the worst feeling I can remember. Now I get the flu shot every year.

I'll get a link up as soon as I hear from a few folks. As far as myspace goes, my kids aren't allowed anywhere near it. There have been so many problems with it up here (won't go into details--not pretty). But they can e-mail and IM and post, so hopefully that works out.

I hadn't even thought about docs, but I guess we have about a month before we get them??

my girls would love to communicate with other kids, they also are not allowed anywhere near my space, they generally read with me on week-end, so I am all for starting a kids thread, they would probably post under my name.
