Hello all. After some back and forth about whether we should go in January or take this cruise in February while my kids are on break, this cruise won. So we will be joining you all. We are myself (Cheryl) my husband Tony, and my two girls, Isabelle (11) and Lily (who will be 9). We have been on 5 Magic/Wonder cruises but this is our first time on one of the newer ships, and our first time with a verandah. Pretty excited!

Thank you! Yes, it's our first cruise. We're all very excited. I have been eyeing the Disney cruises for years and I think it will be even more fun with a whole pack of extended family (16 of us in all.) I'll send you a PM once I hit 10 posts. Thanks!

I don't think all of us will do it - one family is 2 adults and a baby, and another is 2 adults and 2 tweens who may not be interested. But 2/4 families are in for sure, and we'll try to interest the others!

We're hoping to rope in a bunch of people for the Castaway Cay 5K, too. I'm currently doing all kinds of thinking about how to make that a fun family thing.

We are thinking about the 5K, too. We have 1 1/2 of our families considering it. I think it would be neat to have a special FE for those doing the Castaway Cay 5K. Does anyone have any ideas?

Yes, I guessed! I am hoping that we might be able to recruit some non-runners to watch kids for 30 minutes. (Or we can always put them in the nursery for a bit, too.)

Booked my airfare yesterday so we are for sure going to be on this cruise. I was worried with it being a vacation week that airfare would be insane but for Southwest yesterday I got $230/ pp r/t direct from Hartford, CT. Southwest opened up the rest of February yesterday. I am also booked at the Best Western for the night beofre. We are renting a car when we get in and parking it at the port. I liek that The Best Western Ocean Front Cocoa Beach offers a 40% off parking coupon to use at the port. Plus a 2 queen room was only $90 plus taxes for the night. We don't get in until 8pm Saturday on our flight so we won't really be able to enjoy Cocoa Beach but it will be nice to already be right there. Where is everyone else staying the night before or are you flying in that morning?
