February 14-18, 2010 4 Night Wonder Cruise

Ok, I made a mistake, or just wishful thinking. Now its 19 Days till Cruise.

Hello Stephanie...

We got our e-mail notification on Sunday (less than a week after our volunteer day). In the e-mail you will be prompted to print your vouchers.

Hoping you will have a similar experience. :goodvibes

...Jeannine

Thanks Jeannine! I got our "thanks for volunteering" e-mail and it says withing 2 weeks. So, that would be great. The only thing that worries me is whether the facility submits our names in a timely fashion.

Soon to be, Disney or bust.....

Hey, all I know it is approaching 2 weeks, that is good enough for me! Got out all my suitcases last night and started thinking about what is going in which bag, packed some from my cruise box. Girls at work are getting positively GREEN, but they made me promise to email a picture when we got on!

My son's school is a participating sponsor. We are still in the planning stages of our event which will happen after this vacation (and Mardi Gras here in Louisiana), but the facility is required to submit volunteer information within 72 hours so hopefully that means you will get it in time!

My niece & nephew and I are doing our volunteer work on Saturday. The woman said that would be the cut off day for us to get it before the cruise.

What is the #1 thing everyone is looking forward to on the cruise?

Cheers!

Jennifer

I am looking forward to seeing my kids faces as they get their first look at the Wonder. I remember my first time I saw a cruise ship.

We did our volunteer time on MLK day and received our vouchers the following week. Watch your email closely, I almost deleted them thinking they were an advertisement from Disney!:scared1:

I forgot to tell everyone that if you have not had a chance to see "The Princess and the Frog" that it will be showing on our cruise. It really is a fun, enjoyable show. Laissez bonne temps roulez! 17 more days!

I was wondering about that. We have not seen it yet and are looking forward to it. Thanks!!

So do you know what other movies will be showing?

Very cool... I was wondering if that would be playing as I really wanted to see it but never had time before it disappeared from movie theaters here.

I was going to call to check on the movies playing, but if someone else has and can post, I'll mark it off my list.

Doing a partial happy dance as one piece of my FE gifts arrived today. Have to order one more piece and put one piece together. Only one week till I have to ship them to my hotel. Yikes!!

#1 thing I'm looking forward to on the cruise.... obligatory cheesy answer, spending time with my niece & nephew.... good feeling answer.... the warmth of the sun!

Cheers!

Jennifer

Here is a list of movies for our cruise. I was told that some or all may be shown and to check our daily Personal Navigator once onboard.

G-Force

Old Dogs

Surrogates

The Princess & The Frog

Toy Story 1 (3-D)

Toy Story 2 (3-D)

Christmas Carol (3-D)

Cheers!

My #1 thing I'm looking forward to is NO TO-DO LISTS, just pure relaxing and laziness. And, also warm, on the verge of hot weather! Let's hope.

If anyone is interested: Someone one the Disboards said that DCL will be on the Travel Chanel tonight at 8:00pm . Mine here in Atlanta does not show it listed but it does have the Cruising Do's and Don't.... at 7:00pm. I will be watching it , I love anything to do with cruising.

Wow, that is fast. Are you thinking about going after the cruise or before. My family is thinking about doing this.

We are going the day we get off the boat - since we get kicked off my 9am anyway. Our flight home is not until the next day.

If you want it before you leave in Feb, you'll need to find a volunteer opportunity that is happening very soon!

My DBRO and DSIL and their 3 kids are going to do it March and use the vouchers when they go down in October.

I already have some tickets that I can use anytime this year, but just not forsure if I want to go the day we get off the boat. Will we be tired or sick, who knows. I guess we can always play it by ear and see what happens. I am just worried about getting my land legs back in time to walking around Disney World. I have not told the kids yet that we have these tickets, just in case we don't get to go. I can always go later in the year.

Ooooh I second that one! Especially not having to decide what to cook for dinner and clean up afterwards! And... I swear anyone who thinks I'm picking up after them in our cabin will get it upside the head!

I am also planning on watching the cruise show tonight! That is, if I last long enough.... woke up at 3am after going to bed around 11pm and couldn't go back to sleep.... I sure could go to sleep now!
