We are leaving early too on the 13th. We are staying at the Country Inn and Suites at the port. We want just to enjoy the area, maybe Jetty park or the Manatee reserve, they say that is a nice place to visist and its free. How do you guys go, thru Griffin to I 75 or do you take 85 all the way around.

I'm not sure what me and DD are going to do on Saturday afternoon. Since my DH will use the car to go to a race, we'll be limited on where we can go.

We normally go through Griffin to I-75. How about y'all?

My niece, nephew & I arrive on Saturday around noon. We're also staying at the Hyatt in the airport and plan to spend the day by the pool, putting our FE gifts together, and raiding the food court. We're using a car service to get to the port on Sunday and they're picking us up around 9:30am.

Haven't started packing, but I did get my suitcases out and found my pirate costume. My FE gifts all arrived, but not in time to send to the hotel ahead of time. Thinking I might bring two suitcases (love southwest!) and just pack them both light.

It's better than NW Georgia temps also! We saw flurries this morning and with the wind chill will feel like 20s all day long! Supposed to be like this all week! I checked current Nassau temp first thing.... 73 degrees! And at my house it was mid 20s!

I could have written this exact post! I had every intention of packing tonight, but I just can't get motivated. I have one more night, that's it. We leave Friday night! Will it get done??????

Ok guys, we're almost there! Can almost change the countdown into hours instead of days! I pray everyone will have safe travels. Feel free to contact me on my cell if you need to, we will be leaving EARLY Sat morning to drive down and won't be bringing the laptop so I probably won't have internet access from that time. Remember the meet at 3pm in the Promenade Lounge, I'll be bringing name tags so we can put faces with these screen names. I will also bring extra lists. If you upgrade at the port let me know at the meet, I will also put a sheet of paper on my door for any changes. So looking forward to meeting everyone ON THE BOAT! Would love to stay in touch afterwards, you guys really need to get on Facebook! MICKEY, WE'RE COMING!

So, I busted my butt at work yesterday and this morning and I am now officially on vacation! Feel like I've left somethng undone but oh well. They'll have to wait tll the 22nd. No laptop, no emails and voicemail is in charge of my iPhone. Ahhhh. Now to go home, do laundry, pick out clothes, pack, shop, pack, print out stuff I need to take with me, and everything else I need to do before I hop on the train tomorrow afternoon.

I'm partially packed. Few odds and ends to pack up in the morning. Started to freak for a bit because I couldn't find my Fish Extender! Eventually surfaced in the "craft room". (If you replace craft with junk, it's the same thing.) Anyway, my suitcase weighs 25.2 pounds. Dufflle bag isn't completely packed yet but don't think the weight will be a problem. I will be bringing my travel luggage scale if anyone needs to borrow it on the ship.

Pack...what is that? I have not even got the suitcases out of the closet yet. I will be up all tomorrow night. We fly out of Tulsa, OK at 2 pm on Saturday. Why do today what I can put off until tomorrow....I am sure I will regret that soon.

There's something wrong with my cat. She was crying and crying this morning at the normal time, but when I patted her, I noticed something wrong. She's missing a snooze button. I don't have to work today and another 20-40 minutes of zzzz's would've been great!

Cats are like that. We rescued a kitten from in front of Target, so we have 2 that start saying feed me or I will lick you or the wall or meow you to death until you do get up. Cats are fun, but can be very persistent. Thank goodness my husband is an early bird! LOL!

ok today is PACK DAY.... My goal is to have everything ready to go by tonight so all I will have to do is get in the car. My husband just laughed at that idea, He knows me so well.

My freinds that know I am geting on the ship on Valentine's Day is officially calling the Wonder the "Love Boat" they keep singing to me the Love Boat song. lol The Love Boat ,Baby!!!

We are home safely. Got home about 10:30pm last night after stopping by MIL's house in Atlanta and about 50 potty stops! Sad to wake up to FROST on the ground! Had an absolutely incredible time....hope to do it again in 2012 (maybe a 7 day next time)! It was great meeting you guys and seeing you around the ship, thanks to everyone for the great FE gifts! If you are not home yet I hope you have safe travels. If you are not on Facebook I would encourage you to join... would love to have you as a "friend" and to keep up with you!

Made it home last night and crashed... I was upset this morning to find no fresh fruit already cut up for me and I had to make my own bed. Oh, now I have to book another, maybe next spring. Our trip to Disney this summer will help the time pass by till my next cruise.
