ok, just finished with my FE and it looks pretty good, considering I just used canvas bags and some rope. The kids loved it and I guess that is what counts.

Hey, all! I regret to say that I absolutely cannot participate in the FE exchange. I've been working like a crazy person, my only day off before I leave is Tuesday when I have to pack! There is no way I can create a FE and make gifts. I just don't have the time!

But I DO want to meet everyone! Is there an official meet scheduled? If so and it's listed in this thread, I apologize in advance as I can't read all 20-something pages! LOL

Crazy here, too. My son's only pair of school shoes did a disappearing act. I had to buy him a new pair. After which, I finally found them. He kicked them into the curtains and it was stuck between the curtain and liner. Saints won, so most of Louisiana woke up with a headache including me. Just look for the Saints beads and you will find me next week! Washing and packing and counting the days.

Got my fish extender in the mail today ! My creativity is limited, so I took the easy way out. I am useless at work this week. I cannot wait! Is anyone spending the night in Orlando and taking the disney transportation to the port? We are staying at the Marriott near the airport and will get up bright and early to catch one of the early buses to the port. Hoping to get there early to start the vacation as early as possible.

I am pretty much useless at work this week myself, MJCOLEMAN, 4 more work days I have to muddle through! Frustrating because there is not much to do at work and SO MUCH I still need to do to get ready to go! And tomorrow, Wed and Thurs evenings we are busy with church and school activities. On top of that today hubby informed me his mom wants us to drive an hour out of our way on the way down and eat breakfast with her ..... that is a 2 hour delay! AND then, our school system saw a few flurries this morning and decided to let school out early PLEASE tell me the remaining 4 days will not be like today was!

My family (9 of us in all) are using Happy Limo for the trip from WDW to the port. With 9, we got a great deal. It may not be as cost effective for smaller groups, but you may want to check on them. Found out about them through mousesavers.com and I think there's a discount code on the site. We will not be arriving via limo, but last time we used them, they had a dvd the kids could watch on the way to port. Just a thought! They also stop at Albertsons on the way to port, so we can stock up on snacks and anything else we are missing (can't find Sea Safe or Cactus Juice anywhere in landlocked Sacramento--not too many jellyfish around here!!!).

We are heading East in 2 days! I'm not sure how I'll get a full day's work in tomorrow, since I still need to buy a few things, gotta get the dog to the kennel, the house organized, pay bills, repack! Wow, the happy dance has already started!!!!

We are staying at the Hyatt and will be taking Disney transportation as bright and early as they will take us to ship! It now seems so unreal that it is this close. We go through our daily routine and all I want to be doing is packing. Forget cleaning the house!

I think I would be explaining to the MIL that you will make it up to her later, Maybe dinner on the way back. Plus don't you have your friends traveling with you on the way down. Keeping busy is a good thing, makes the time go by faster.lol

Hey Lisa, we live in Dalton now but are originally from Newnan! Hubby is a Newnan High School grad (Class of 85). I graduated from Heritage (Class of 86). We moved to Dalton in 1993.

There are A BUNCH of us on Deck 2, check out my post on page 1. Even if you miss out on the FE please join us for our meet on Sunday at 3pm in the Promenade Lounge.

My hubby also is a big Nascar fan, he will find some way to either watch or listen to the race!

We're not originally from Newnan, but we LOVE it. I'm originally from Navarre, FL and my DH is originally from Ellicott City, Maryland. People think we're crazy, but we have no desire to live in either place.

We started packing last night. I'm SO stressed because I've gained weight since last summer and now my dressy capris and shorts are TOO tight. I really don't have time to go shopping. I probably have enough shorts to get by, but nothing dressy for dinner. I might have to wear jeans at dinner.

SORRY for the delay in responding. Things have been crazy at work. I'm not sure how I'm going to get it all done by Friday.
