Bubbles are just for if you want them at the sail away party. We had some last time and honestly, I just thought it was a mess. Address labels are nice because on the last night they give you luggage tags to put on all your bags. If you have address labels, you can just stick them on there instead of taking your time to fill them out. Quarters I suppose if you want to do laundry. I'm on vacation and unless we have a disaster, I'm not doing laundry! 2 way radios can be tricky because of the ship being all metal. Also with you having younger kids, I'm not sure it would be necessary. I think that's more for people that have older kids that can check themselves out of the clubs. Clothes pins for if you want to hang things on the clothes line in the shower. I just draped them over it. And you can bring wine but you can't put it in your suitcase. It has to be carried on by you. I would also suggest if you're bringing wine to being a corkscrew but I would pack that in your luggage.

Will they take it if you pack it in your suitcase cause I have traveled with wine in my luggage b4.

thanks for the tip. I do want to thank you for the warm welcome, and starting this forum, you mark and everyone has been very helpful and don't worry I still more questions and if I seem to get to be a PITA just let me know.
I have not booked any excursions and probably won't due to the age of my kids and my aunt coming with us. I have been to all of these islands b4 on a cruise and we had more fun doing our own thing and meeting wonderful people like yourself. If you have not done swim with the sting rays that is a must. I just have never done a cruise with kids !!!! I also look forward to warm weather it is now snowing we are due to get 5 to 10 inches!!!!!!! Here in Cleveland, Ohio.....
I wanted to order something for my aunt for her room as a thank u and/or combine it with valentines day... any suggestions? and do I do this prior to cruise or now?

Steph, There are several trusted merchants on the islands. Disney will give you a shopping in paradise guide. Grand Cayman is the only location this cruise that has a Harley store. We have a Heritage Softail, so its one of my fav shopping stops.

Steph, last year for Valentines day, Disney had a setup where you could order Valentines gift baskets. You could choose what you wanted from the ships store.......... Worked out well for me, my DW loved it !!! Good luck !!!

Tried to see the Magic in port today, darn web cam is looking the wrong way, at some tower or lightpole...... Ok, 3 more weeks and I will be doing the 'Boarding Dance' !!!!!

Jen, are you still planning on getting the headcount for Palo's ??? Its for brunch, correct ?? Brunch, Dinner, Drinks........whatever, count Laura and I in !!!

We ended up changing our first two nights stay in Orlando to Old Key West, using our DVC points. I just could not stand having to pay $150 a night to stay at Port Orleans Riverside. DVC makes you spoiled.

With all this snow and cold, I would drive straight through right now to get on the ship !!! :space:

I'm planning on doing brunch reservations. If you already have your stateroom number, why don't you sent me a private message with your info and I'll put it on the list.

That goes for anyone interested in brunch, Just send me a PM with your names and stateroom and I'll put you down. I'm really hoping to make them for Monday but I guess beggers can't be choosers huh?

Talked with my parents today, they say Florida is going to see low temps in the 30's in the next couple of days..........Hope it gets the cold weather out of its system before we get there.

Hey everyone,
I thought I read that someone wanted to know were to go get hair braided. Our friends just got off the Magic and brought me back all the Navigators and it showed on the "Welcome Aboard" appts taken from 5:30 - 6:30pm Preludes, deck 4. I don't know if that would change on our voyage. Hope this helps.

Yep, read the navigators (I think I called the passporters by mistake in a previous post..too much Disney in my head....) The first thing I do when we get to the Stateroom is read through the Navigator. I do the same thing every evening's, for the next day. After 4 Cruises, I have the schedule pretty well down, but Disney is always adding new features, and its fun to try something different. Dw has taken the galley tour, and I might even wake up early enough one day to do the bridge tour.

Where ever they end up being, GET THERE EARLY! The line was terribly long and there weren't many appointments available. I had one of the girls at school the other day tell me that I should get my hair done. LOL

Thanks for the info re:braiding appts. DD and possibly DNiece are interested in having their hair braided. I had mine braided in Hawaii, not sure I will do it again. It was very low maintenance which is nice while on vacation.
