February 10th 2013 ~ 4 Night Dreamy Dream Cruise!

Fingers crossed that we make it to the ship! We are trying to get out of New England and get by Winter Storm Nemo (seriously? Nemo? are they trying to poke fun at us?). We moved our flight from Saturday am to Friday afternoon. It is a non-stop to MCO so I'm hoping if we can get off the ground there is a chance.

:rotfl2:
Thanks for that one. I didn't know it's name. That cracked me up.

I think the stress of the trip as a whole is getting to me a bit. We leave tomorrow morning.

I had a dream last night that my husband was making me mad in the car because I couldn't reach something in the back seat. He made me SO mad in the dream that I yelled an obscenity at him in my sleep, that woke myself up. :confused3

I am honestly not mad at him for anything, just stressed for the trip.

Considering I don't EVER use that language, I honestly laughed myself back to sleep half embarrased at my words. It made a good story this morning to tell my husband and I even told my kids (minus a few details) . He didn't hear the words last night, but he did roll over so I know it woke him a little.

I sure showed him.:lmao:

I just stopped by the Dis Welcome center. If anyone will be in the area on Saturday or have some time on Sunday before getting on the ship I recommend stopping by. Everyone was WONDERFUL!

They have WiFi and beverages and the people are lots of fun to talk to. They also sell DisBoard merchandise, and will give you a gift if you booked your cruise through Dreams Unlimited.

They are open from 9-3 Saturday and Sunday. They located at 6550 N Atlantic Ave, Cape Canaveral, Florida 32920, which is just south of the Port on A1A.

I had such a fun time talking with everyone about DCL, and now I am even more excited for Sunday, which I did not think was possible.

So sorry for everyone trying to get in from the stormy Northeast...I've been thinking about it all day wondering if anyone on the cruise is affected. Now I come on here and see there are a lot of folks getting re-routed.

Hope everyone makes it there safely!

We fly out tonight but we are in Seattle so just the typical clouds to make it through. We have an overnight flight, my 10 year old is wondering how it will be...neither of us sleep well on planes, but hopefully this time will be different?! We arrive in Orlando at 6:20 a.m., which is 3:20 am our time. Planning to rent a car and drive straight to the port, so we'll be there a day early. If we can check into the hotel early we'll rest, if not I guess we'll sleep in the car, or go to the beach and laze in the sand.

Thanks to the person who sent advice about the DIS place, will try to check it out on Saturday afternoon if we get a chance. I can't imagine being more excited than we already are!

We plan to eat somewhere fun and by the water on Saturday night. We're staying at the Comfort Inn and Suites...I thought it was Country Inn but got the names confused.

Hope to meet some of you too,
Lise and Jenna

Finally packing tomorrow!! :cool1:
Chose second seating so hope to enjoy a couple shows prior to dinner and hope the kids enjoy the kids clubs on the ship. :mickeyjum:goofy:

DH and I rented a car and left MIddle Island, NY on Thursday night at 11:00pm and drove straight through we arrived Friday at 7:00pm......the word from home is we got 32 inches of snow......and they have still not scene a snow plow.....

Hello everyone!
I'm crashing your party with a question...what was the entertainment on Pirate Night...There are 4 nights, but only 3 shows...so who entertained "this" night?
 Last year we had an awesome entertainer, but I missed it. I dont want to miss it this time...

Sailing this Sunday Feb 17

Thank you!

Thank you!

It was a magic show from Vegas. I thought it was really good.

Thank you everyone that participate in the fish extender group. It was so much fun. We loved all the gifts and it was good to get the exercise of delivering ours after all that food. I hope everyone has safe travels home. We should all be extra thankful we were not traveling with carnival this week. Those poor people!!!

thank you everyone for the fe gifts. we had a wonderful cruise! hope you had a great time also and that your homecoming will be a safe one. all the best until next time.

Thanks to all that participated in the FE Group, DH and I loved all the gifts and got some very good ideas for our next cruise.

Thank you to all who participated in the fish extender gift exchange. My boys were so surprised and excited every time they saw new goodies in those pockets. We also now have a fridge full of beautiful magnets to remind us daily of the wonderful time we all had on the Disney Dream. We are also particularly looking forward to some Louisianna fare (gumbo) this weekend. This exchange truly transformed the cruise into something so much more, magical really, for us all thanks to your thoughtfulness. Happy Valentines Day to you all and safe travels home!

With Love,
The Kinsey Family (Josh, Chrissy, Dylan and Derek)

We had a wonderful time with the FE exchange this cruise. Thanks for your lovely gifts and sharing your time before the cruise creating them, and during the cruise delivering them. We will not be cruising for a while since Ty, our little one, didn't do well at all on vacation. However, the FE made this cruise special for me even though it was filled with temper tantrums, fits, etc. Lol

Thanks so much to everyone for the wonderful FE gifts! This was our first Disney cruise and the kids LOVED finding the treasures when they came back to the room.... They also loved giving them out! :-) What a great experience!

We enjoyed participating in the FE exchange. Thanks for all the wonderful gifts. Each gift will remind us of the GREAT cruise we had!

Hey Everyone, we did the back to back cruises and just got home last night. Our luggage arrived this afternoon. Be thankful for the weather we had on our cruise, because the next cruise 2 of the 3 days it down poured. The sail away party was inside and castaway key was crazy down pours and they left a little early and the seas were really rough with 70 mph headwinds on the top deck. I was so thankful for the nice weather we had on the first cruise.

Thank you all for the wonderful fish extender gifts! I loved receiving them and was in aww at the creativity of the group! I made the cork candle holders, but obviously couldn't put a candle in them due to cruise line regulations of no flammable objects. If you aren't into candles you could use it as a pencil holder and someone was joking it could be used a shot glass.

Thanks Again! Hope to cruise again with you real soon =)

I also wanted to thank everyone for their wonderful FE gifts. It was so fun to come back to the room and see the surprises waiting for us!

We just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of the people that participated in the FE. My son, Hunter, loved finding the gifts whenever we returned to our room. All of the gifts were wonderful!! It really helped to make our cruise memorable and special!!! We hope everyone had a great cruise!! I can't wait to go on another one!!! LOL!!
