It's nice to hear from another cruiser.

If you check up a few posts, Alice on Wonderland posted some dates and times for a meet and greet. Just let her know if you are interested, and we would be glad to hang out with more cruising friends.

We are also staying at the Poly the 19th - 22nd.

I am sad to say that even though we (DW, DD's 8 and turning 3 on the cruise) have had this cruise booked for almost a year,have just discovered this 12 days before departing for our vacation. We will be at the Poly 18-22 Feb and then on to the Wonder on the 22nd. This will be my 4th cruise DW 3rd cruise and DD's first cruise but we all come with pleanty of Disne experience.

I have to go shopping today....I don't like the dresses I bought.
And I still haven't found the kids' pirate costumes!

2 weeks from now we will be on the way to port!!!! Still not crazy about that late DCL pick-up at BWV, but at leat we should be on our way to the Wonder.

Hello everyone, Getting lot's done today. Time is going fast now 14 days!!!
Need to start packing for myself.The weather was Great today turned off the heat.We will be on deck in the sun before we know it... Will we be giving out the FE gifts on Tuesday? day or night? Please let me know. Thanks D&A

In my opinion we can do the FE's any time. I don't think it needs to happen at any certain day/time. You should do them whenever works best for you.

With no certain day or time, I think it would exciting to have little surprises here and there during the day.
But can I suggest that we do it before Wednesday evening. Everyone has to be packed up Wednesday night.

I almost have the little ones packed up. All their clothes are organized in bags, I just have to figure out how to fit it all into their suitcases.
Then I have to get started on my clothes!

Another loooong boring week at work....oh well. Tomorrow we will be in single digits!!!!

I was thinking about getting DCL's birthday decorations for our stateroom for DD's bday. It is $39.00 and includes a birthday cake, banner and cascade. Does anyone know if DCL hangs up the banner and cascade? Is this done only on embarkation day or could I request it for her actual birthday? Does the room steward take care of this? I wrote to DCL but got a very vague answer.

If I bring my own decorations (ie birthday banner and/or cascade) any ideas on where/how to hang it in the room?

Hmmm... I might need to post this over on the regular board.

I am never going to get all the little details taken care of before this cruise!

I am ordering the Bon Voyage package. I would assume that the room steward would have it all set up for us, but I think it's wishful thinking. I wouldn't even know how to let them know that's what we would like them to do.

Not sure how it would work for the middle of the week. Maybe if you talk to the room steward and let him/her know what is going on, maybe they would take care of you.

Give Disney a call maybe they can help. I saw this wall decoration at a party store Iam going to bring tape and put it up.I also found pirate things two. I will leave DH with grandkids and go to the room first. D&A

i ordered the bon voyage package.
They just asked for the ressie number. They didn't ask dates or anything.
And he said they set it all up for you, so your room is decorated when you get there.
I don't think you can pick a specific day for them to do it...but I'm not positive.

Hey Cruisers!! We're getting closer and closer!!!

As for hanging decorations in your stateroom...what about using those 3M Command Adhesive things- they make hooks and clips. They would probably hold more securely than masking tape and they don't leave a mark when you take them down.

I'm bring a few 3M hooks for our stateroom- I remember reading somebody who mentioned there weren't enough places to hang things like wet suits etc.

I did some packing for DD last weekend so this weekend is all about packing for me and hopefully getting it all done...yeah right...although I'm hoping.

Back to work 'cuz that is what is paying for this cruise!

I"m hoping to get some time to sort thru my stuff and figure out my outfits.
I know I have some shopping to do, but it helps to know what i need.
DH may have to shop too.

I figure I can plan my outfits during the week....go shopping early saturday morning and then spend Sat. night packing me up.

Sunday I"m hoping to finalize all the papers I need to bring with and make sure all the decorations and papers are ready to go.

I want to be DONE by Monday!!! Then I can just obsess about how slow the time is passing.

Last night i took care of the dining plan, the parking garage, stateroom celebration and preordered the photopass (sue, i was on a roll with dh's credit card, so i just kept going...lol).

My Disney Visa's going to get quite a workout tonight too...

Gotta book the rental car, pre-cruise hotel room, prepay tips...I need to make a list!

So much to do ... getting a little nervous it won't all get done!
