I figured that this being my first cruise, I'd be the last ones to get cruise docs, calling somewhat frantically a few days before. But I am delighted to say that when I got home tonight from work...

I got the documents!
:mickeyjum :goofy: :mickeyjum :goofy: :mickeyjum :goofy:

Just to be clear, I don't mean the W-2 or 1099s, but rather my cruise docs. ;)

I've searched around for pirate gear, but since I don't want to spend $30-50 per person, I've thrown in the towel and will have to be content to dress up like a pirate here. pirate:

For all those who haven't gotten their documents yet, hang in there!

So that's where everyone went! And I had a yummy appletini with dinner tonight!

I got a notice on my door that they tried to deliver the documents today, so they should be leaving them for me tomorrow. Woohoo :)

This weekend I'm going to do our packing and then the official countdown begins!!
:cool1:

lol jon re: w2 or 1099 forms..

and my husband won't dress up for pirates night.. i got a skull shirt on sale.. and well... it's funky.. at best... or at the least that's what i'm shooting for.. and my dd is dressing up but.. we didn't dress our last cruise...

yum appletini

I've been travelling for business and have missed several days worth of posts so I'm trying to catch up!

No documents yet. I want my docs!! The cruise is not real until I get those.

From what I can piece together...there is a meet on Weds night at the 80's party. Count me in, it sounds fun.

Laurie

Welcome back Laurie...allow me to give you the meet highlights!

Official Meetings of the"Happy Laid Back Cruisers"

Sorry I'm Late?!?!?!?

So I'm checking the 10 day forecast and it looks like it's going to be raining the days we were planning on doing WDW before cruising. Now, I'm okay w/ some showers, but if it's pouring rain, does anyone have suggestions about what to do in Orlando or the surrounding areas? (We're staying offsite and have a rental car)

Thanks!

- Quenby

PS - Send some pixie dust to Orlando for an improved forecast in the next week!

Okay...I reeeaaallllllyyy want my documents to arrive today! If I don't have them by tonight HEADS ARE GONNA ROLL!! (okay...maybe not roll, but I will call my TA and speak to her in a very stern mommy voice!!)

I am so excited..

And woot.. so who all have already packed or started stacking clothes etc..

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :cheer2:

WOW what early risers!!! Good Morning!!!
Ditto what you said tj, if I can even get a hold of my ta.

Packing- haha. No i have not. My good hubby did though! He packs his own anyway. I may skip exercise this morning to do final shopping and start packig the kids!

What happens if we don't get the documents?

Good Morning

I just checked with Disney because we were planning on bringing a few  bottles of wine on board and they charge a $15.00 corking fee for each bottle because they don't allow you to bring corkscrews on board.
Does anyone know how much disney charges to buy bottles of wine on board? Just wondering which is more cost effective....hhmmm maybe I could get a side job opening bottles on board...

There is a wine list on some site...I'll try to find it. I was going to bring my own but figured with the corking fee I would just buy on board (after all I have spent what's another few $$). I know there were bottles around $30-$40, maybe alittle cheaper?? I love trying new wines anyway! DH isn't much of a wine drinker so one bottle will last me a few nights....
I'll try and find the wine list!

FOUND IT!! Go to Menus, Food and Drink at the following website....

what y'all rich enough to buy wine with corks in it?

there's always the screw off tops..;) or the wine in a box...:woohoo:

Another day closer!!! Yippie!! I am planning on packing everything today except my formal wear. I dont remember if I told you I had bought 3 dresses to bring home to choose from, well when I got home and opened them up I realized 1 of the dresses was the wrong one! My mother in law was headed out towards the mall Tues so she exchanged it for me. They had charged me for the dress I wanted but handed me the wrong one so there was no price adjustment needed, just exchanging of dresses. I read them the UPC from my recipt so they could pull the correct dress from the rack and have it waiting for my MIL. Well, last night my hubby picked up the dress from my MIL and guess what......still the wrong dress!!!! I am not to happy with Carson's right now. Now I have to go back to the mall (which I might add is about 25 mins away) and exchange it AGAIN!!!!

I have half a mind to return all of them and just go to J.C. Pennys, and get those black ones with the flesh colored underlaying material.......just kidding WeloveDCL!!!

We leave 1 week from today so I am really doing a happy dance! My vacation starts the second, the limo pulls into my driveway to take us to the airport!!!!
