Let me be the first to post a 2007 cruise. Very excited about the price and this will be a B2B as we have the same cabin on the 2/10 Western Cruise, don't have to get off the ship and it's our 36th Anniversary on 2/12

Hi! and congrats! Looks like you beat me to it...I was just going to start this thread.

I'll be seeng you on board!

ETA: I'll be on the 2/3/07 cruise..celebrating my birthday on 2/6/07 :)

Are you on your own? We're in room 2070. Make sure we wish you happy birthday. If you are alone, we'd love to have you at our table.

Thanks for the offer, I really appreciate it. I'm not cruising solo this time...I have convinced my mom and dad to join me :) We have late seating, and would enjoy sharing a table if you're still interested :)

We have one of the secret cat 7's (6634). I'll be sure to stop by room 2020 to say hello :)

It looks like we are the only 07 thread--I'm surprised--I thought more would have started by now.

We're early Eaters sorry and its Stateroom 2070. I'm sure we'll set up a meeting before we sail hopefully we'll have lots more DIS people

I'm sure we'll see each oher onboard, and (hopefully) many other DISers as well! Sorry, about the stateroom number...apparently I couldn't read this morning....

P.S love the pic in your siggy :) The Studios is my favorite park at WDW

Hello! My DH, DD (12 by then), and I will be joining you. We booked 2066 this afternoon.

Cheryl

Our little Pug Winnie would love your great dane, wow a birthday and an anniversary, high occassions. We are growing :bounce: :Pinkbounc

And my Dane would love your little Winnie! We have two little Yorkies and the Dane just loves them. He'd have a ball with a feisty little Pug. :pug: So how do we smuggle these guys onto the ship with us? I have to admit that finding a good dog sitter is always my biggest cruise concern. Thank goodness I have 5 grown children!

I just realized we're one cabin away from you. Talk about being close. Unfortunetly both our kids have their own animals so Winnie goes to "Camp" and as long as noone tells her differently she loves it. I'm impressed you have a later family. We almost did the same thing but the 1st grandkid was there. We realized fast that we were too old to do it over. It's so great to wind them up and return them to someone else.

Good morning everyone!

Here is a bump back up to page 1!

:boat: :disrocks: Hello Everyone,

DH, DS (now 8) and I will be on your cruise. This will be our 4th Eastern, so that is definitely a testimonial to how much we love those first two days at sea! In January '05, we had room 6548. In January '06, we will be in 6048 (same cabin location but on port side). Then, in Feb '07, we are back to cabin 6548. We like the location and it has the top bunk, which DS loves.

joksten2000 - A back to back sounds sooooo great! I hope DH and I can do that at some point.

Nice to meet you all!!!! :cool1:

Welcome aboard PiperG family Reading all the reports I'm getting excited but not happy with the 30 foot waves I'm reading about. Glad they put a CM on the ice cream machine. April cruise is around the corner. See everyone later

Hi Gang! Just checking in before the weekend chaos hits here. Welcome to PiperG and family. :wave2:

I've been reading about the new "Tween" attraction on Deck 2 where the conference rooms used to be and I'm wondering if the cabin we booked (2066) has gone from it's previous quiet rating to a major traffic area. John (our new neighbor in 2070!), are you guys at all concerned about this? I'm seriously thinking about calling DCL and moving away from that area. I love Tweens but I know how exhuberant they can be!!!

By the way John, that "late-in-life-family-addition" of a DD...shall we say....well...some surprises in life turn out to be better than others. ;) So here I am with 5 grown kids, an 11 year old, a 3 month old granddaughter and a second granddaughter due any day.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Cheryl

Welcome Piperg Can't wait. I'm so jealous Greatdanemom we're so looking forward to a gd. My dd is now 29 and she had no hair till she was almost 3, what a cutey. Brings back so many great memories, what would we do without kids? I love the gs's dearly but there's something special about gd's maybe your right about the room :grouphug:

Yes, those grandchildren are all precious. Makes me even more grateful for my children!!

We've moved our stateroom a little farther back to get some space between us and the Ocean Quest. DH craves as much quiet as he can get (I should put him on HAL instead of DCL!! :rotfl: )

I also noticed that the cost of our cabin has actually dropped $100 since we booked. I called DCL and they lowered our balance. You guys might want to check on yours just in case. Every little bit helps.

Cheryl

Hi Cheryl - Decided to move after considering your idea about the teen center but after checking prices I saw a drop so I decided to ungrade to a cat 8 like $75. so we are in cabin 7512 on both cruises, I did remember. Seems like a million years away. Thank goodness we have April 15th to look forward to in the mean time

John
