Feb trip to Tampa and WDW - Day 1-3- Homossassa and Tampa (WARNING - PICS!)

Well, I figured since I will need to depart from Photopoint soon I had better get this trip report done. And given that it's been 2 months since we went it was WAY due time I sit down and compose this great trip we had!!!

We left on February 16 at, get this...8:01AM!!! Which meant we had to get up and head to the airport by 4:30AM in case we ran into traffic!!! I had a not very enjoyable plane ride experience about 7 years ago and was very shaky...I even cried until I knew the plane was at cruising altitude!!! I think I need to stop watching the news!!! But it was a pretty smooth flight - here's a pic of dd's second plane ride..she was so excited!! One thing to keep in mind...we left Chicago..it was cold!!! and snowy that morning!!!

We arrived in Tampa and it was in the high 80's..like 86 or something...I wore pants and wished I would have worn short!!! We got unloaded and Britt, and I went with my fil to a pool nearby their complex in Homossasa which is like an hour north of Tampa - couldn't believe it...it's 5 at home and we are in FL swimming!!!

It was a very nice evening and we had a very uneventful weekend. We went to a flea market on Saturday which was very interesting...got some awesome fresh fruits and vegetables and on Sunday mil, fil, and dh went golfing while Britt and I worked on her homework and I finally finished reading Harry Potter book number 4!!!

Brit looks so happy on the plane.. you know I understand the fear of flying thing, sorry that you were so upset. I cannot remember the last time I went swimming, the water looked so inviting... oh is it summer yet??
