All right everybody...I am officially over our cancelled October trip (darn you Ivan), and am now in full planning mode for our rescheduled trip, tentitively February 25-March 5.
Because this is a COMPLETELY different season different weather issues are beginning to pop up:
#1. Is it too cold to do any of the water rides? Like Splash Mountain or Rapids in AK? How have you guys dealt with this in the past? Not so concerned about this for adults, but obviously am worried about DD who will then be 4.
#2. I know they have little water things in Epcot for the kids (who am I kidding...my DH and I will be running through those things like idiots trying NOT to harm small children...JK) and Donald's boat is supposed to be a blast. Are these running in the winter months? Is it too cold for the kids to really participate? I was planning on packing her bathing suit in our "park backpack". Should I bother?
#3. We are staying off site and I am in the process of checking to see if the pool is heated or not. Do Southern Floridians swim in these months? Should we pack our bathing suits?
I obviously want to get the FULL Disney experience, but without a dash of the whole pneumonia experience. Any suggestions or advice? Would really appreciate it!
