I was wondering if anyone stayed at the Disneyland Hotel or the Grand Californian Hotel at the end of February or the beginning of March this year and could give me the regular rate and/or AP rate?

I'm trying to get an estimate for next February.

Hey Cristabel,
The AP rates were around $189 at DLH, and as low as $169 during those months. PPH went as low as $149. Lower rates were midweek, and off season, non holiday.

Full rates for DLH were $269 to $289.

Thanks Tracey!

I doubt GCH will ever get under $200 :sad2:

I'm right there with you on that one Christabel. I've checked and checked, and crunched numbers during various dates, even during the slowest of times with the biggest discounts, and standard rooms at the GCH are still over $200 per night.

I think if we ever want to stay there, we're just going to have to bite the bullet. :headache:

Hi Ladies! There was a fluke week in January I think where someone got GCH for $189 on hotels.com. So now I look on that site everynow and again!

I'll gladly stay the DLH because we can just hop, skip, jump to the monorail :thumbsup2

But having direct access to DCA is just awesome

I'm almost at the point now that I'll pay the outrageous $$$ to stay at the GCH just so I can say that I've stayed there......call it bragging rights......or maybe it's so I can save face since in all the times we've been to DLR, we STILL haven't ever stayed at the CGH. :goodvibes

I was one of the lucky ones who got the Grand for 189.00 or so.:cool1: I just happened to stumble upon it.

I'm willing to pay and split a room next year, if someone wants to share!:goodvibes

I forgot to add that on the day we were to check out, the Grand offered us another night for 169.00 or 171.00 or so. We weren't able to take advantage of that price, but that rate was really getting down there.

What?! Wow, that is getting down there! I want that rate.....whaaaaa.

I stayed there 3/16-3/19 and the standard room rate on the website was $280 per night. But I ended up upgrading that to DTD view with fireworks view (luckily I got just what I requested :) and it was $325 per night (not including tax or resort fee). It was expensive but I will not stay anywhere else now. It was FANTASTIC staying there.

Well, I checked all my former receipts for the rates I have paid. Not counting the times we got the CM rate, the best I ever got was $199 and that was in 2006. In 2007 & 2008 I paid $249 (standard view) and $269 (theme park view). And that was for Feb and Oct. AP rate booked as soon as they came out. Add in the tax and resort fees and it comes close to $300. I have found the best deals to be at DLH - DD and I paid $129 last Sept. I love the short walk to the monorail and then we start our day in Tomorrowland. :goodvibes I guess we'll see what is available as the time gets closer.

Right now the 5 nights for three is a darn good deal. GC with all taxes and fees is $1271 for five nights. :thumbsup2
