DAYS until we sail!!!!!!!!!

Here are the answers to yesterdays trivia question, name the 12 main characters in the Lion King:

Scar
Mufasa
Nala
Simba
Rafiki
Zazu
Sarabi
Timon
Pumbaa
Ed
Shenzi
Banzai

We are now up to the letter "N" on our disney/pixar characters.

Todays trivia question, its an easy one!

Where is the main setting for "Cars"? And if we want, what are the main characters?

I know its late in the game, but my family and I will be travelling on this cruise with our children to celebrate my son's 3rd birthday.

My daughter is 5, and son is turning 3 on Febuary 6th! We would like to be a part of the Fish Extenders exchange and are hoping it isn't to late in the game to join a group. We just found out about the fish extenders this morning and my wife is really excited about it and hoping we didn't find out to late.

What do we need to do to join a group? Thanks and I look forward to partying all week with all the familys, and hopefully watching a good football game Sunday afternoon on the HUGE screen.

Also, we are set to board at 3 pm; does anybody know if it's easy to board early? Thanks group!

We have two FE groups going. It is too late to join the early group, but you might be able to join the late group. What I could do is go ahead and put you in late group and you can see how many of the 4 families in it are willing to add you. I'm participating in both groups and I'll at least deliver to you.

Question of the Day: Thursday, January 26

Who are you looking forward to getting a photo with most?

My family of course! I'm also hoping DD will take a photo with Mickey & Minnie. The costume characters sometime scare her. She's ok with people dressed up as princesses and peter pan and such, but the life size stuffed animals can be terrifying. I' also hoping Mulan will be available. I've been trying all week to get her a photo with Mulan at Disneyland but the meet and greets are so short!

HAHAHA! You're right on not leaving the room very much!!! I will attempt to go to the meet and greet! How do I find our when and where it is?

It's just Me (Dale) and my Bride (Kristen) and we are both 21!

Hello everyone,
Thought I'd jump on and introduce us. I'm sailing (Renee) with my husband Ian and daughter (3) Kaitlyn. This is our second Disney cruise so we are super excited. A couple of questions for anyone who might know...

1. What's the deal with upgrades? We have a 7A room for 3 right now. What do you pay for upgrades? Our last cruise was totally sold out so we couldn't even think about it.

2. I didn't realize they had changed the check-in and didn't do it until recently and got a port arrival time of 2:30. Our flight gets in at 10am so I'm hoping we will be there long before that. Do you think we will have to wait until 2:30 to get on board?

Thanks and see you all soon!

Not sure about your questions, but wanted to say...

Hi and :welcome:
I'm originally from Roseville (I'm so old school, it was pre-Granite Bay days!) Good to have a few more little ones in the group! Seems like the 7 year old boys were taking over!!

I have the same issue. We land at 10:15 and have a 3 pm boarding time. I have heard you can try to board early at the port but they can't promise you will be allowed to...

Like Linda, definitely want a nice family photo! :teeth: Seems like all the pictures we have are of my DH and the boys :dance3:, none of all four of us together! :confused3 And I'm always a sucker for Mickey! :mickeyjum

Speaking for Robyn Lane, since I am the DH, I say we are ok with adding the Nelsons

Okay, CA folks - what are the laws there for car/booster seats? I'm booking SuperShuttle to Disneyland and possibly to the port and they say "If federal, state or local laws require your child(ren) to be secured in a child safety seat, please bring one."

Do I need to bring a booster seat for DS7?

Thanks!

I am looking forward to getting my picture wih Brian Lane and his DW in their matching Mickey and Minnie shirts and ears.

The CA law is by weight, but I really doubt they would hassle you over your 7 year old. If it was me I would not worry about it.
