Feb 5th - 12th 2012 Mexican Riviera on the Disney Wonder

Ohhhh so funny, I was hoping there would be a question like this coming up.

Okay, so I'm sort of both. During the day, I won't be doing my hair or makeup, cause mostly I will be at the beach or pool so I don't want to. At night however, I'll prob be looking like a completely different person. Ahahahah you'll be like wait who is that. So since I will be bringing an insane amount of makeup, here's my list of can't forget or I will cry. Ghd straightener, sultra bombshell, Dr.jart beauty balm, naked palette, NYC palette, and 15 yr palette (all my urban decay obviously) nars orgasm illuminator, Mac bronzer, bisque Concealer by b.e., and about ohhh a hundred lip glosses. Oh and dry shampoo. Best.invention.ever. I could keep going...omg I forgot mascara...ysl, mufe, and tarte is who I will have. Okay, I have to stop....I didn't even talk about all the skin are I will have. Lol :)

Well, I can see that I will be totally out of my league on this cruise! :worship: I dont even bring my own shampoo and conditioner, I like the H2O products they supply, better then what I buy. I probably spend a total of MAYBE $40/year on makeup. NO idea of what hawky just said :confused3 :rotfl2:I will have some mascara, under eye concealer, and bare minerals foundation. Thats it. A little hairspray and a crappy (hand-me-down from DD) straightner.

Lol...I work at a cosmetics store. So my obsession is slightly higher than normal.

My biggest MUST have is sunscreen w/out it I look like a lobster. Other than that pretty basic, foundation, blush, mascara...

Question of the Day: Saturday, January 14

Inspired by our very own beauty expert, Hawky7 of Sephora, what are your must have beauty supplies for the cruise. Some consider a vacation the time to look their best because of all the photos, others believe a vacation is the time to let yourself go and relax completely. What are you?

I second DVCTigger, I'm outta my league! :worship:

I can't say I let myself go because I don't like to scare small kids!

YES, the dry shampoo is a must! Every mommy needs it! Rebekah, yet another item I get for less at CosmoProf. AND! Dry Conditioner! That's right, this year, Tigi Bedhead came out with Dry Conditioner to accompany their Dry Shampoo. You use the Dry Shampoo to absorb unwanted oil and refresh your style, then you go over the mid to tips with the conditioner and it makes your strands glisten like a fresh shower. Love it! Speaking of mascaras, I finally got the Fairydrops and love it! I really want to get the HourGlass Lash Lacquar as well. It accompanies the Fairydrops so well. I feel like I have falsies on.

3 More Weeks Till We Sail! Woohoo!

Compliments of BrentM3: Who are you leaving behind? If you don't have a who, perhaps a what?

We share a home with my parents, we're leaving them behind! It's a nice vacation away from each other, though we did invite them. They declined because it would be overkill. They're taking the exact same itinerary on a different ship 2 weeks after we get back. My grandmother is nearing 90 now and she wanted to go on vacation with all 7 of her children. This will be the first time. I don't know how they did it, but they're all going.

We're also leaving behind a chinchilla named Signore Chino da Bambino and a cat named Cat (who has seen Breakfast at Tiffanys?). We were planning on leaving our bird, Sir Chester the Lionheart, behind as well. Sadly, he passed recently.

Ohhh you get bedhead at a discount?? That's the kind of dry shampoo I use. What do you get it for?? I will have to try the dry conditioner, that sounds awesome. Yes, i have the hourglass lash lacquer, i will have to try it with fairydrops cause I haven't found a mascara I love it with yet... I want it to look like the advertisement for it!!! Lol.

As for who or what we're leaving home... thatd be nothing. No kids, no pets. Nothing we have to find sitters for, we like to just leave. Hahahaha :rotfl2:

I'm pretty much Tammy Faye Baker 24/7, princess: not much changes with me. I might spackle a bit more on in the evenings, but you'll never see me without mascara. And I'm embarrassed to say, especially with the caliber of make-up professionals assembled here, but I'm cheap and easy. :lmao: I mean I like my make-up cheap and easy. If I can't get it at the Target, I usually don't wear it.:rotfl:

At worst, I pay in the $9s for each item. I try to wait until they pack it in a bundle and pay $10-$15 for both.

We'll be leaving our fish, Chloe, at home. Chloe is our dog. We call her our fish. Have you seen Despicible Me? When Vector pounds the floor and tells his shark to "Quiet down fish"? That's what we say to our dog when she's amped up. Yes. We're that weird.

Ohhhh I'm going to need to hit up that store with you for sure!!! Or if you happen to be going there before the cruise, you could get me some and I will give you cash on board. :thumbsup2

Krista- LOL...

I am leaving my DH home (his choice!) and my Maine Coon kitties. (DH has health issues and was sick when we last visited DL and did not have a good time.)

Oh yeah, this was a loaded question...when I don't rent a tux at least everyone here will understand where my $ went!

We are leaving behind Buck, the 1/2 quarterhorse, 1/2 thoroughbred; M&M, the POA; Trixie, the shetland; Buddy, the miniature horse; Piggy, the 144lbs "miniature" potbelly pig; Lucy, the multipoo; UNO, the tailless barn cat (who now knows why you don't nap on a radiator fan); Pumpkin, the calico kitty (who may be with child after a recent indiscretion); Bunbun & Sara the bunnies; Rolo & Yoshi the guinea pigs; Max the dwarf hamster; 4 hermit crabs, and 2 goldfish.

Just be glad you aren't our petsitter. And that you aren't me.

I only wanted a cat.

QotD: We are leaving a whole crew behind. DD21 is at Penn State, DS19 is at Drexel Univ. DS17 will be home. He is in charge while we are gone! He is an honor student and competitive soccer player. So will be busy taking care of himself AND our two black labs, Smokey and Bear!

But they clearly want to come with us!! :rotfl2:

Just leaving behind the kitty...and several co-workers who have volunteered to take up space in my suitcase :rotfl2:

qotd yesterday - not much just my little make up bag. Probably tie hair back in the day and blow dry in the evening - btw do they have hairdryers in the staterooms.

qotd today - nobody its just the four of us no pets at the moment.

They do, but they are supposed to be horrid tiny little things.

There are, they look like vacuum cleaners, and have very little power! It would take FOREVER to dry your hair with one. Especially if your hair has any weight at all. I would highly recommend bringing your own!
