Feb 4, 2024 HS Special Ticketed Event?

Hi! We are planning only one day in HS during our 1/30/2024-2/7/2024 trip. There is now a "special ticketed event" at HS on Sunday February 4th from 9PM to 1AM but I can find nothing on what this event is. Anyone know what the event is? If the park closes at 9:00 but Fantasmic starts at 9:30 (only showing), can we still attend Fantasmic or is that just for the ticketed event?

Do you think it's better to do one day at HS on Sunday knowing we only have one day to do EVERYTHING at that park or do we move it to Monday, February 5th and go to MK on Sunday?

DHS closes most days at 9PM. It is common for them to have Fantasmic at 9:30 even though the park closes at 9PM. You will be allowed to attend Fantasmic. I would recommend arriving no later than 8:45 for a 9:30 show.

I would keep your DHS on Sunday if it were me. Often when guests see a special event at the end of the day they choose to go to a different park.

Plan Disney (not always the most reliable source) says the Feb 4th event is for the end of the UDA National Dance team championship.

There will also be a special after hours event for competitors in Magic Kingdom on Friday, February 2nd, as well as a special Celebration Party in Hollywood Studios on Sunday, February 4th. Expect to see additional crowds in those parks.
