Feb 4, 2007 Wonder cruise

I have everything reserved, from the airline flights, to the rental car... and the Hampton Inn at canaveral the night before!

Hi everyone :wave2:

Bill: It sounds like you're all set! We don't have our airfare yet, but we've had our reservations at the Wilderness Lodge (where we'll be staying before the cruise), and the Animal Kingdom Lodge (where we'll be after the cruise), for a few months now. :sunny:

We will be staying at the Poly after the cruise for a few days!

We found the idea of getting off the ship and heading right to the airport to be entirely too depressing. We went to AKL after the cruise last time, and will be at WL afterwards this time.

We just decided to add one more day to our adventure after the cruise! We booked one night at the All Star Movies. We are staying off site in a villa for 4 days before the cruise. We thought this would be a good chance to check out a budget Disney resort. I don't know what we will do for that one last day but it looks like they boot us off the ship pretty early in the morning so maybe we will have time to get in another full day at Magic Kingdom. (I hope!)

I just registered the kids for the club/lab......... Getting closer now!

same here.... we are renting a car to get to the Poly as soon as we get off the ship.

We are almost going to be 90 days away!! Our lives have been so busy and I just can't wait to finally be on the ship! It has gotten so cold here in NJ too fast. Today it is in the 50's!! Did we skip Fall???

We seem to have skipped Fall up here, too. I am hoping for a nice, warm, February in Florida and The Bahamas!

My counter hit double digits this week. Of course that is until we arrive at WDW.

We're supposed to get snow here today. I think we had about four weeks of Fall, so I'm not complaining too much.

My countdown timer will hit double digits tomorrow :hourglass 99 days from tomorrow is when we'll be flying down to Florida; staying at the Wilderness Lodge for a couple of days before the cruise, and then Animal Kingdom Lodge concierge afterwards.

There is now construction going on, on the concierge floor of the AKL because they're turning that floor into DVC units, so I'll be paying close attention to the trip reports between now and then and it if sounds as if there'll be too much construction going on while we're there, or if the new concierge set-up doesn't sound appealing, we'll switch to a different resort. Not sure which, though! Our favorite is the Polynesian, but I'd like to try an Epcot resort one of these days, too. :scratchin

Ok Everyone We will be leaving on Feb 3rd and my countdown is

95 Days!!!!

I Am so excited! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

We have just changed our dates to the Feb 4 cruise. This is our first Disney Cruise. Our kids are Wesley (10), Gradey (7) and Britney Anne (3). They are so excited. One question... what is the package you recived about the cruise? From Disney or TA? I'm thinking of changing TA's. Not very happy. Anyway, glad to know that there are other people going.

:wave2: Hi guys! I just booked our next trip yesterday!! This is our 5th Disney cruise and I can hardly wait. We're doing the land/sea pkg. Several friends I've met here on the dis are meeting at POFQ for a few nights and then we're doing the Feb.4th cruise. I really prefer the 7 night cruises but... It will me my dh Mike (45) He just retired after spending 26 yrs in the Air Force :woohoo:

Me(29) the biggest disney fanatic ever :rolleyes1

and Kenny (5) He'll be turning 6 Feb.19th so we'll celebrate a little early :cheer2: Gotta avoid the holiday rush!!

The docs go to the TA then to you.

If you are thinking of switching, I highly reccomend you transfer the res to Dreams Unlimited. Click on their ad on the top of the page and it has a link to contact them. They can transfer the reg for you via email.

Well today is the 90 day mark for the start of my trip! Two days at WL before the cruise, then the AKL afterwards :sunny:

pinkie: Not sure if this is what you were asking about, but I received a "package" that is basically a brown expandable folder that says "My Cruise Travel Kit" on it, as well as the names of the various ports that the Disney ships visit. It has a velcro tab to keep it closed. Inside there is a thick booklet called "Disney Cruise Line Vacations 2005-2006" and also another booklet type of thing called "Ship And Shore Vacations Guide" and inside that are individual small booklets. Their titles are: "Shore Excursions - 3 - and 4- night cruises - Nassau/Castaway Cay", "Quick Tips for Smooth Sailing", "Gifts", and "Setting Sail - Disney Wonder", and "Vacation Protection Plan". It really didn't contain any info that I didn't already know, but it could be very helpful to a first time cruiser, plus it was fun to get in the mail :) I actually have 2 sets of these because my TA sent me one, and DCL sent me one. If you don't get one, let me know and I'd be happy to mail one to you. :)
