Disney Ak Cup –Heather & Jeremiah grabbed spots 9 & 10 for the 2nd Palo group brunch on Thursday at 9:30.

We have 2 spaces left...but have met the min. requirements of 10 to have it.

We haven't yet received our documents, but my husband wanted to practice a document dance...you know, stage it for when we get it.

So sad...no documents yet. If they don't come tomorrow (Sat.) the next chance is Tuesday since Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the post office is closed (are they coming USPS?).

I just CAN'T wait till Tuesday!

And Marcy - I keep forgetting to post: the kids got their postcards on Tuesday from Mickey and Minnie (DD) and Captain Hook (DS). They LOVED them. Thank you so much for doing that.

This time in three weeks I'll be...in the hotel freaking out!! Deciding what to put in "carry on to ship" bag vs. other suitcases...

Hey all - according to lbgraves, whose word I take since she seems to know ALL there is to know, said they did change formal night to Monday night last year so as not to conflict with the Superbowl. So they will probably do that this year too...

So now the question is to change the Palo dinner ressies for Monday or not (and Flounders ressies needed too...)

I’m with you Dee right now outside my house the temperature is 19 and this morning it was 7 , Mt. Augustine keeps erupting which is kinda concerning me I prey to god our flight does not get canceled, and this is also me and my wife’s first cruise so we are ecstatic

We are grateful to all of you for your condolences...I hesitated to even mention what happened to my dad on this list at first, but I think I needed to convince myself that despite the senseless viciousness and heartbreaking loss that have clouded our hearts lately, there are still kind, gentle, compassionate people in the world willing to reach out to (near) strangers. Your responses are undeniable evidence of that, and I thank you.

We're doing the happy doc dance today! And we certainly needed some good news for a change. Tonight we'll savor everything (though there's not really all that much to read) and drag out the Passporter to figure out what else we'll do on St. Martin since we've rented a car. John wants to see the planes land at Maho Beach, but there will be time to browse the island, too, so I think tonight is a perfect night for it.

Oh, it is really getting close. Time to dig out the snorkels and my new dive mask!

We are so looking forward to meeting everyone.

Good evening everyone, No documents and no rain. We haven't had any measureable rain since the middle of October. Hopefully we will here about our docs soon. They have to go to AAA first and then to us. 3 weeks from tommorrow. Sail away!!!!!!!!

Let's hope you don't bring the rain with you to the East coast! It's been warm the past few days, but rained a lot last night and will get chilly and windy today.

I hope the Redskins don't have any problems in the rain!!

Well, we're doing half a happy doc dance. Upon inspection, it turned out our document package only included John's tickets and luggage tags! A call to DCL revealed my docs were sent by UPS separately (no explanation why). I got a tracking number, but my tickets aren't expected to arrive until Tuesday now because of the MLK holiday. I didn't think UPS observed that holiday, but, oh well. So, the docs are allegedly coming, just in a separate package. Hope when we sail on the Wonder in April with our kids everyone doesn't get a separate mailing...just seems to increase the risk one goes astray.

It's cold and miserable here in Chicago today, so we're going to cheer ourselves up by packing for the cruise and then later take the kids to our favorite pizza place and go see Narnia.

I'm bringing a laptop with me (because I'm a geek, a news junkie, and a freelance medical writer, so I'm always working or looking for work), but I don't know if I want to commit to doing the trip report...maybe we can all chime in?
