Two weeks from today, I'm heading on down to WDW!!!!

Oh crud, I can't talk now people, I've got to go starting packing!!!!!

I bet all your kitty cats are going to miss you! This time my fur babies will have my hubby & kids home w/them but I sure will miss them

Got a PM from Doc and Family (friend of quarterman6) and she said that there was a great rate for Atlantis hotel rooms on travelzoo.com. I was told to pass it on!

I invited her to join us on the board....I hope they pop over. They might be interested in exchanges and magnets too!

Anyone else driving? I am considering booking a room for the night that we get back from the cruise. Would it be better to get one where we can park the car?

We're still thinking about it. I'm afraid I'm going to over tax myself, and may need that night to rest up before the cruise. Also, the budget is pretty tight.

We would, but we're doing the one on the 9th. We've got Wed-Sun at AKV and then Thurs-Sun at BCV, so I'm so excited! We figure if we already are in the state, we might as well max out our time with some more Disney fun! We are the type of vacationers that leave at 3:00 a.m. on our arrival day and not get back home until midnight on our departure day. You'd think that since we go frequently that we would ease up a little, but NO WAY! I wouldn't want to miss a minute with the mouse!!! My parents call me the "vacation nazi" (did you ever see Seinfield and the soup nazi?).

I have a good friend who looks after our cats whenever we go away- she's a cat lover too and when they do disney I watch their 5 cats so it all works out!

Actually, funny, well not really that funny, story... just a little insight as to how much of a cat lover I am. The stray that I have fed for two years bit me (long story- bottom line... my fault and I totally set myself up for it). Well, anyway, I had to go to the ER to see if I needed stitches. Since I refused to turn the cat over to the police to be euthanized and tested for rabies (I was sobbing to the animal control officer), I am currently undergoing a series of 5 rabies shots ove the course of a month in addition to the tetnus and antibiotics treaments they gave me. The cat's not sick, but like they say better safe than sorry! So now to convice DH to just let me take the cat to the vet for all the necessities, so if it happens again I can avoid this again! Oh yeah, and I still feed him twice daily...I know, I'm a sucker. So that's me and my cat obsession in a nutshell.

I've actually seen posts on the boards about strays at the resorts and I just hope that I personally don't ever see one. Otherwise, we'd have an extra passenger on the flight home! All of my current cats have "found" me (born in DH's boat, born under my neighbors window, etc.). And since everyone know to "call Jenny- she'll take care of it"- well, 7 cats later...

I think Tara is still planning on doing the 6pm meet. I think she is joining another DIS group there? For the fireworks and parade I think it is just "us"
You could come to 1 or both of the meets, but I think you should join us for the fireworks and parade for sure!!

There is a huge DIS Meet at 6:30 infront of Jungle Cruise....but for a cruise group I think we were gonna just watch the fireworks and parade together.

I will be at both!!!!

Think hard!!! We would love to have you. If you are not planning on going to the parks this is a cheaper way to get to see it. Tickets are around $35 instead of $75 so it was a budget maker for us!

Oh, my, the cats at Castaway Cay are gonna be walking up to you there where 3 of them on last July cruise

I am so sorry about the biting incident! a round of rabies shots does not sound fun at all . You are truly a to be there for the stray kitties.

I am relieved that my two cats will be with my family as we have the little old lady next door (Cat Lover!!) who comes to watch ours...my one kitty is not to found of her and left a little "suprise" in my neighbor's new purse!

I want to give out magnets for one time only and either hand them to families at the ship meet or to someone else to dole out.

For privacy reasons, I don't want our stateroom number publicized outside of the Magnet Exchange group especially online.

OK, so we're adding Gmark to the magnets list and I think PrincessEmilysmommy- she had pm'd me about the gifts and mentioned that her magnets were done.

So we are up to 11 rooms? (10 names on the list- pixieprincess doing it for two rooms)

And for the gifts that list is right unless anyone decided to add after I posted it. I had gone back and scanned the posts up until that point. So 9 rooms participating unless anyone changes that now. Sound right? (Just made my 9 last night! DD is so excited!!)

I agree with the Gmark's posting of the room numbers comment. I think I PM'd mine to you, Tara. Do you want to cut and paste the numbers that you've received onto the list and PM it to the participants instead of just posting it? Or if you want to PM me with it, I can forward it to everyone.

I know my DH is not happy about me giving out our room number so keeping it semi-private would be good. I keep telling him none of you are crazy (none of you are crazy, right? ). I just insist that you are all just like me- regular people who love disney. I don't think that helped my argument He thinks I'm crazy!!!
