Are you waitlisted for early dining? We were, and when we paid in full on 12/10, early dining showed up on our reservation. If you don't get it changed beforehand, you can always inquire about changing once on board.

Hi everyone!!

I'm finally getting in the grove and posting here!

We will be on this cruise and I am soooooo excited!! We are treating my parents to the cruise as well, so it will be me, my dh, our ds8, dd6 and dd3 (she will turn 4 a week prior to the cruise!), and also my mom and dad!!

It's my dh and kids first cruise, my second and my parents 3rd or so. Soooo looking forward to it!!

I have been watching another thread for Feb 2011 room assignments and no one has one yet..... Since we have GTY 8 ... here is hoping we end up with an upgrade. Fingers crossed. But if not, no worries- we will be on the Disney Dream!

We're still trying to figure it all out - looks like we're going to have tons of fun! We're spending three nights at WDW beforehand and one afterwards before heading back to chilly Connecticut.

Any tips for first-timers are welcome. Can't wait to meet everyone else!

Welcome! Make friends it helps...we have a lot of 3 and 4 yr olds and a hand full of 6 and 7 yr olds. This helps for the drop off with the clubs and what not. Also join us for the Fish Extender (you can find them on Ebay)...the children will love it! Ummm another things is get like a pillow case or photo mat and drop it off at guess services and with a sharpie and get the characters to sign it for the children and they will drop it back off at your room on the last night. The other things since you have little ones if you have early dinning and they dont get desert in the dinning room mickey ears ice cream bars through room service is free n a nice treat from a long day in the comfort of your own room. Will talk wit my Eeyores #1 fan to get some more ideas....I will also have a treat for your family!

So now that the countdown to Christmas is over...we are counting down to the cruise! Wondering, is there a formal night on the 3 day? I think I read recently there isnt a formal night, but a dress up night. Whats the difference? Thanks! Im already looking around at bathing suits!

You heard right; no formal night. Dress up night for us means that we treat it as formal night. I've never seen anyone in tuxes or long gowns; but, I'd say if you want - go for it! I usually wear a cocktail dress and he wears dressier trousers and shirt.

Hi Everyone!! First off my family is so excited about our first Disney Cruise!! It will be myself, 30 my husband, our 3 year old daughter and my parents. This is our first B2B ( if I have the lingo right) and will be in WDW on the 20th. My parents are Vacation Club members and we just love Disney!!! I felt this place is the best place to ask for any tips and advice. Also does anyone know about the policy of parents in the oceaneer club? My 3 year old will want to go there but I know she will not go without my husband or myself. Thanks for any tips and advice you guys can give me!!
