FEB 2014 Anyone else going?

We officially arrive in February - we arrive the 28th and leave March 9th.

4 days left! I am excited, we took DD(1.5) last year, and I think its going to be a very different experience for her this year as a 2.5 year-old. I think she will much more keenly aware of what is going on. Also, she started loving Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Ariel became her favorite princess--I think she might freak out over LM.

Now, if I can only convince her that POTC and HM are just as awesome as LM (or, at least not "scary").

We took dd for the first time at 1.5 and again at 2.5. She does not remember a thing about that first year and her trip at 2.5 are her first real memories. Enjoy it!!!

Going February 20-22 one day with my aunt uncle and two little cousins( 3 years old). First time seeing disneyland through. Little ones eyes. The other two days are just my hubby a friend and I. Gonna be a good trip as well as the first time we renew our annual passes for another year of fun.

This sounds exactly like my DD, also an Ariel and Minnie fan. She went to DL at 1, WDW at 1.75 and now DL again at 2.5 (I know that's a lot of trips for a 2yo, one was a late planned business trip). We just got back and she loved DL even more this time. By the last day she was begging to wear her princess dress to the park, she knows how it board a ride, pull the bar down in her lap, and get out. Everything is Real to them at that age, it's so cute to see her eyes wide with wonder.

My DS was 3 for our first trip and doesn't remember that much of it.

We just got back Wednesday. Weather was nice considering at home we were getting snow and ice.

If anyone has any spare pixie dust, I could surely use it. I'm here in Charlotte, NC less than 24 hours from our fun and sun filled attack on DLR looking at 6 inches of snow with some lovely sleet and freezing rain expected later tonight. I don't see how we can possibly make an 8 am flight with this mess on the roads.

I'm so sad for you. Can you just drive to the airport tonight and get a hotel walking distance from the airport if the planes are flying?

We are flying through Atlanta on Saturday. Hoping that the airports are fine by then. We specifically chose Atlanta to fly through instead of New York, Boston or Chicago because of snow. Looks like it would have been better to choose those! Doh!

15 days to go!! Yay! Heading to DLR and DCA staying at our favorite Disneyland Hotel! Awesome time to be an annual pass holder, if you stay at one of the on site hotels they are giving 2 fast passes for each guest Going to save us soo much time to use these for our favorites Indiana Jones and Radiator Racers!

There was no getting to the Charlotte Airport Wednesday afternoon, by 2 pm the roads were gridlocked with more snow and sleet coming. UAL cancelled the flight later that night. The rebooked us out of here Friday night with an overnight in Chicago arriving Saturday morning. I declined the offer and cancelled the trip. Who knew 2/13/14 would be the worst day in the year to travel in the eastern US? AND Guess What? After all that, we had an earthquake here in South Carolina on Friday night!!!

I hope everyone had a magical visit this weekend and someday I'll bring the kids for a visit.
