Any history of deals during this period - and when do they get announced ?

We'll be there February 25th - March 3rd as well. It's been 20 years since my last trip to Disney World and my husband has never been. So, needless to say we have a lot to learn! We'll be celebrating our son's first Leap Day Birthday. Anyway, we're hoping for some February deals as well.

We've been changing our dates constantly for our next trip. The kids' schedules are so hectic it's getting harder and harder to plan a WDW trip. Anyway, hopefully we won't have to cancel this one...lol.

We're now talking about Feb 3-7th. We're going to try to rent DVC points, but we may be already too late for that. So, I'm hoping for a great discount. If it's FD, then we'll stay at a value. If it's a room only discount, then we'll shoot for a deluxe (maybe Wilderness Lodge). Not sure yet, I'll just have to wait and see.

We're considering going the week of Feb. 12 (the week before President's day). We'd really like to stay at the BC, so we're hoping for a good discount. We don't want free dining as we don't like to have too many dining reservations. I'd love a room discount.

We went this year (2/25-3/1) with free dining - so there is definitely hope! I'm pretty sure they released the promo in August.

I'm holding out for free dining as well. We're looking at 2/13-2/18/12.

Last year, they released the dates on August 16th. can't say whether they will do anything like that again. May have been an anomaly, they had never done anything quite like it before.

We are going similar days so will join your crossed fingers.. We are 2/14-2/20.
Those last couple days would be blackout days.. but At least free dining, is based on check in.

I checked 08-10, but forgot about this year! There was free dining basically from August of 2010 through early March 2011 (minus the blackout dates of course). I have high hopes that we'll see a free dining offer in the next six weeks. I was counting on free dining choosing the date for me - I may actually get to choose December or February. Christmas would be great...but we're quite miserable in northeast Ohio in February!
