Well, we got one set of cruise docs on Thursday (the boys' room), us girls haven't received them for our room yet! My DH thinks that's hysterical as he knows how anxious I am to receive them!

I, too, am getting nervous with all these snowstorms we've been having. Hopefully we won't have an issue flying out.

Hi Everyone- While I am not really new to the DIS, I have only been on the cruise section for the past few weeks and only today found this thread- because of reading about it on the main page!

We will be on the 2/20 Wonder with all of you- myself, dh, dd6 and ds8. I wish I found this sooner, as I know my kids would love to participate in the FE exchange. I am kicking myself over this!

Is there anything else planned as a DIS group? I am getting excited about the cruise, but a bit worried about all the snow we have been having here- hope we get to fly out to LA!

Thanks for double checking ll california. Our cruise documents came today. Our cabin number is 2082. Is anyone else doing the Mexican Cookin Experience in PV? It's the only excurison we have booked. .

Do you know what time that tour leaves and what time it returns? So many of the PV excursions are 7+ hrs. We want some time to explore the city so don't want an all day excursion.

Nevermind, I found the timing - 7:45 am - 12:45 pm. That would still give us time to see PV in the afternoon.

I booked directly through their website just a few days ago. I'm sorry you couldn't get in. It's always nice to see a familiar face when you're going it on your own.

I spoke to them a few days ago and was told they were booked with a private party. We ended up booking with EcoCat on their 15 person Zodica. It's pretty much the same hours and only a few dollars more. No beverages. Just soda and water.

According to our travel docs the tour is from 8:45 - 1:45 and I believe they will drop you off in town after if you want to explore. Hopefully, you will join us. It is always nice to see a familiar face on an excursion.

Hi Kathryn - Just sent you a PM - Glad you will be joining us on the cruise. I can add your kids to the list will the understanding that some people have finished ordering/making the FE gifts so you probably will not get something from everyone. Some people will have some extras so if you are ok with not getting something from everyone I can add your kids. I will have extra kids stuff with me.

Send me your cabin number and an email address if you want me to add your kids to the list.

It looks like we will at least have a meet on the first day (still need to finalize time and place) so everyone who has participated in this board gets a chance to meet.

A while back someone asked about some way we couple recognize people - I thing the lime green Mickey head is probably a great way. You can make one your self with a marker or get one at Home Depot in the paint chip area.
Attach it to something visible - many people wear a lanyard. If I find some I'll bring a few extras with me.

Girls 11-14 -- 6

Girls older than 14 -- 2 (Michelle's 17 and 20 year old) Elaine, do you have older kids? You have them listed as adults, right? Chris - two women and two men..... are they all adults or are some older kids?

DW would probably call me an older kid, but I do not think that is what you were looking for. We are all adults, it is me and DW in one cabin and MIL and FIL in the other. Although DW and I will be having a stowaway since she will be 19 weeks pregnant at the time of sailing

Thanks for the restaurant tips everyone. Definitely some good ones in there. I also read a culinary blog about Disneyland with the new menu for the Village Haus, as soon as I read Chicken Sausage with Pretzel Bread Roll that I was sold as having to stop by there.

On my list I have
15 girls under 10 (including the 2 girls from families who joined recently)

1 boy over 15 from family who joined recently

My 7 yr old granddaugter Ceanna will be with us as will my "baby" - she is 27 and my son who is over 30.

Thank you all for including me! I am getting more excited about this trip everyday! We have cruised before in Aug 2009 on the Wonder to Nassau for 4 nights. This is our first 7 night cruise.

My kids are excited to participate in the FE and I am going to get to work right away on my gifts!

I am eager to meet some new friends on the boat and for my kids to meet some too!

I am so excited that I went out shopping this afternoon and am about 75% done with my gifts!!! I still need to make the FE, though. I am going to ask my crafty babysitter for some help tomorrow. I posted some questions about exchanges on the main board, but will repost them here in case there are differences with this group.

1- Am I supposed to wrap the gifts or just put them in the fish extender without being wrapped? What do most people do?

2- Does it matter when I deliver the gifts? Morning or evening? Which day? Any suggestions?

3- Looking for an easy to make FE -thought of using small tote bags and somehow connecting them- anyone else ever do something like this? Also, does each person in our group need a pocket or can we share?

4- Do you give Thank You notes for the gifts you get? If yes, do you deliver them to the FE? I am guessing you bring a stack from home if you do this?

5- Is it okay to give one gift for the adults to share per room with separate things for the kids?

2- Does it matter when I deliver the gifts? Morning or evening? Which day? Any suggestions? Time doesn't matter but, occasionally, gifts get stollen by other guests who are "curious" For that reason, I wouldn't pass out the gifts too late in the evening.
