I can't find it on the DCL website.... What time are we scheduled to arrive and depart on the Cabo days? We booked Palo for dinner, assuming it would be a day at sea.

from what I see, our port days are still the same days 2/23- 2/25 -- PV, Cabo, Cabo (2 days in a row). So, sea days remain the same. This is what my "cruise plans" are showing anyway.

Weren't we supposed to be at sea on day 5 or was that the original Matzalan day?

On both of our Cabo days there will be 3 ships in port. I wish they could have managed to get an emptier day for or second cabo day.

Our at sea days haven't changed. They just replaced Mazatlan with Cabo.

I know we don't need them but I really, really WANT them.

That 1:30 departure from Cabo on Day 6 seems so early - our shore excursions we have booked for that day went well beyond 1:30. I think I am not going to change anything because Disney is going to have to do something and I'm afraid whatever I do is going to make things worse. Could they move all of the Friday excursions to Thursday?

btw - it is 7 degrees here this morning and supposed to get colder as the day goes on. By tonight it's supposed to be -5 with a wind chill of MINUS 14 degrees - I won't complain if I even just have to sit on the ship.

Mom and I spent the day making our FE gifts. I hope everyone likes them. We at least had a nice day making them and we think they turned out awfully cute! Less than a month to go!

We finished our FE gifts this weekend too. It was a good weekend to stay indoors. I always bite off a little more than I should so I'm glad they're done.

I just found this board and I am hoping it Is not late for me to join the FE program with you all. I feel so bad for my kids that I did not know about this. This is our first Disney cruise. My family, Dh and 3 ds 15-13&5 and my dd-3 will be traveling with my MIL and FIL. We have 2 connecting rooms. Both myself and my 5 year old son will be celebrating our Bdays on the cruise.

If my two little ones could be included in the FE with you guys that would be great. We are traveling from San Jose, ca as well. We are all getting so excited. I know this would be a fun thing for them to do. I promise to give good FE's if you include us too

I called yesterday and was told slightly different times then you. This was the information I was given:

Day 2 Sea
Day 3 Sea -Formal Night
Day 4 PV 7:30am - 7pm - Pirate Night
Day 5 Cabo - 10:30am in port 11:15am - 7pm tender running
Day 6 Cabo - 6:30am in port 7:15am - 1:30 pm tender running - Semiformal

They also told me new excursion for Day 5 Cabo would be up today or tomorrow. Less that a month. Can't wait.

Hi Vanessa - and welcome to the cruise. I'm sure you will all have a great time. I'm looking forward to meeting you on the cruise.

I am coordinating the Fish Extenders for the group. We put a deadline of Dec 15th because people were ordering things and others wanted time to make things for people. I also know that some people are not done making things and I know some people planned to bring extras with them. We had one family in the group that added an extra person last week and what the family and I agreed to do was to list the person on our FE list and let people know there would be an extra person in the room - but let people know that the person was a late add so if they didn't have something for them it was ok. I'd be happy to add your 2 little ones to the list as a late add and I'm sure they will get some nice things. I will have extra gifts and at least 2 others will as well. Let me know your room number where you will have your fish extender. Are there any characters the 2 kids like?

Let me know of that's ok. I will PM you my email if you have any questions. I don't like to post email addresses on web boards - too many phishers looking for addresses.

Thanks so much for your replies. I have been checking the boards regularly since I found you guys. So much to learn on here. My MIL is making our fish extender right now (I figure, worst case, I can buy a few things myself for my kids so they can get a few surprises and be a part of the magic). I totally understand that some people may have already purchased or made their FE gifts but we would love to be included where ever possible. This sounds like such a fun addition to the cruise. Of course I did not know about the door decorating either so I am hard at work on my magnets too.

Even if people can not give to us I would like to be able to give to them, so if I could get a copy of your list that would be great. I do not have enough posts to PM you my email, so whenever you get a chance email me. I am going to fill out all the information that you originally requested from us so that people can get to know us too but I understand if the FE can only be done for my little ones. I'm sure they would be the most appreciative.

Something fun is to bring a photo mat or pillow case and a bag of Sharpie pens and give it to guest services. They will have the characters sign the items and leave it in your room on the last night.

Welcome, Vanessa! We can add the kids to the FE as well My youngest guy just turned 6 too so I'm sure our boys will see each other in the club! On the last day of the cruise, the kids club should have a "show" in the Walt Disney Theatre where all the kids are onstage and sing a little song. It's very cute, you may want to have your little kids take part in that. I think it's called "Friendship Rocks" in the Navigator. The kids receive a tshirt too for a souvenir.

Also, your little girl may enjoy "Tea with Alice" - you need tickets for this as it fills quickly. You can pick up free tickets at Guest Services, but best to do this early in the cruise.

One last thing for all the kids, but especially your teens, try to get them to their respective clubs on the first night when all the kids there are new. After that friendships start forming and it may be more difficult to break the ice.

Other than calling, has anyone received notification from Disney regarding Mazatlan being removed? I used their email form this morning and have not heard back yet. I'm so thankful to the DIS boards. Without these forums, I would not have even been aware of this change.

Can't believe we are less than a month away!
