I am in the same boat. Watch for Rochester too...Southwest flies out of there. The prices are real high there right now. Just be patient. I think we'll see better pricing before all is said and done. They just aren't "sale-ing" those dates yet.

So I booked our flights leaving buffalo to ft lauderdale on the 15th. Not my first choice of times but it was nonstop and $135 per person. I could have waited but didn't want to take a chance. I will keep an eye on return flights.

So unfortunately I had to create a new account because the disboards app would no longer l we t me in.
The good news is we have booked our travel. We are actually coming by train! I cannot remember the cost pp. But my DH said it saved us $1000. We leave on thursday evening from albany ny and arrive in miami on sat. Morning. I think it will part of the fun.

Dude, you rock! Thanks to your post I got the flight booked as well. Agree I would've liked to gotten down a little earlier in the day, but its a direct flight and definitely a great price on the day I wanted.

Here's even better news, I called southwest and if the earlier nonstop becomes available we can switch it to that time!! If the price is more and we choose to switch we just pay the difference

Yeah, that's how it works - with SW you can switch your flights anytime you want. I probably won't switch earlier unless the price is right.

Dropping by to say Hello! We are booked on this cruise and can't wait! We were on the Dream in July and are so excited to cruise again. We are a family of 5, myself, hubby and 3 kids, Connor (14) Parker (12) and Hope (6).

Do you know if we have a Fish Extender Group for this cruise? It was so much fun, we are hoping we can do it again.

Hey there! I don't know much about the fish extender thing. I will point out its existance to my wife and see if she wants to do it. I can't tell you if there is a group yet or not.

I will try and check out the facebook page, but I don't really want to link to something that explicitly states I will be away for a period of time well in advance. Security and all....

I am also having trouble finding it; can only see the 2013 group. You should be able to direct message the link--I will send you a direct message request and see if that works. It may be because of the particular security settings you have (Closed vs Private)

We are excited to be joining you all on this cruise next February!

Cruising will be myself (Maureen), my DD (age 15 at cruise time), and my DS (age 13 at cruise time). This will be our 4th DCL trip, though the first one out of Miami. We also have Main Dining--tried the 2nd seating last cruise but it just didn't work as well for us. It will also be my DD's first experience in the Vibe.

I was pleased to already see a recommendation for a hotel in the area pre-cruise--we usually travel the day before the cruise, but will likely be heading directly home (to snowy SE Michigan) post-cruise.

this will be our fourth cruise too! and first time out of Miami...
