We're flying from UK, due to arrive in Orlando around fourish, we will be picking up a rental car there before driving to cbr. Is there any chance of checked in etc and getting to mk in time for the parade at 2000 assuming were not too tired

I don't see why not.
Really? seems to be near an hours drive (my 1st driving on the "wrong" side of the road lol). So it is really down to luggage collection, security and how quick we can get our car, then how long the check in process is at cbr, Would love to be able to do it, think it would be a great way to get the buzz at the start of the holiday

Four hours from the airport to Magic Kingdom? That should be plenty of time. Why aren't you taking the Magical Express?

It's about 40 minutes from the arrival terminal to Boardwalk. CBR is right nearby. That's using 417 with a sunpass for tolls. If you arrive on a weekday, you'll hit traffic if you go I4. If it's Friday afternoon, I'd add another 30 minutes on I4.

Customs can be slow in Orlando, but I'd assume you would make it as long as you don't waste time anywhere.

Not sure what the sunpass is but ddoubt we'll have it, arriving on a Wednesday, will this make much difference on the tolls,

417 is a toll road. If you do not have the sunpass, you have to stop every few miles to pay tolls with change. I want to say there's 3 maybe 4 toll booths on 417 out to the Epcot exit. If you get out on the road around 5:30pm, I'd still take 417 over I4. After 6pm, you might do better going 528 to I4.
