Fearing too much food!!

i second the others. the key to enjoying the dining plan is to plan meals far apart. for our december trip, our family is doing the deluxe plan solely on because we want to do many of the signature restaurants.

i don't think i could eat 3 ts meals per day either. (8 am breakfast, 130 pm lunch and an 8pm dinner? no thank you. ;) )

I was thinking of making better use of the signatures as right now we only have 2 in our plans. We also have an extra day's worth of credits because we are flying in late in the day on our first "night" and won't be making full use of the credits available for that day.

Make sure you are counting all the 2 credit dining you have reserved. While you may only have 2"signatures" you have some 2 credit dining. (quick glance Cali, CRT, JIKO, Le Cellier) I count 4 reservations with 2 credits. And Spirit would also be 2 credits.

I'm using distripplanner to keep track of my credits used and remaining so I'm hoping it's accurate! :)

We just booked a 3 day (4 night) trip for next month with the DxDDP and I kind of see it as a nice test run to see if it's too much or just right. We definitely consider eating our way around the parks to be a big part of the experience, so I think we just have to figure out if our plan is manageable our if we should save some restaurants for next time.

Sounds like fun! Have a great time. DH loves the Deluxe because that's how we eat on vacation! I figure I walk enough that it balances out at least that's what I tell myself :D.

We can easily do 2 TS meals a day, and we usually do lunch and dinner. Stopping for lunch is actually a very nice break from the parks we have discovered, and gives our feet a rest. We don't eat incredibly heavy for lunch though, every TS place has lighter options where you still feel like you're getting your money's worth. I wouldn't eat a steak for lunch and a steak for dinner or anything.

After walking miles and miles every day we are more than hungry enough for a sit down dinner even after a sit down lunch. We always do a counter service breakfast though, even sometimes something that would be considered more of a snack. Like a bagel or breakfast sandwich. Then a 11:30-12:00 lunch, and a 6:30-7:30 dinner. I could not to 3 TS meals in a day though.

We do 2 - 3 TS meals a day on DxDP on our trips and love it. To me, the restaurants are an attraction in themselves. As for it being too much food or not, just don't eat as much if you're not hungry. It is a lot of food, no doubt, but I rarely end up feeling overstuffed, but I'm not a clean your plate type of person.

BoG again for dinner (or my preference of just the french onion soup and the grey stuff cupcake).

Can you get the master's cupcake (grey stuff cupcake) at dinner? last time we were there is was just on a brownie for dinner. My bf really loves the grey stuff

Sorry, I don't have the answer to this one. It's on the menu, but you never know until you're there.

We were there a little over a week ago, and it was just on the brownie at dinner.

Thanks again everyone for all the responses. After talking it over and addressing some concerns, we took another look at our reservations and made some adjustments. We're definitely going with the deluxe plan, and aiming for 1 TS and 1 signature per day, or 2 TS and a CS.

Let me know how it goes! Im interested to see how it goes :D hope you have an amazing time!!!!

My husband and I did Deluxe last October. I was sick before we even left the house and had a 13 hour drive ahead of us. Well it turned more into a 16 hour drive, due to frequent pit stops. I was pretty sick for the first 4 or 5 days once we arrived. That being said, I don't think we would ever try deluxe again. The only way I would consider it again would be to do a Signature every other night. But I looked at the menus for our 2017 trip this evening and didnt like most of the menus. Le Cellier we simply love. But my being ill last year I didnt enjoy even that.
