I was wondering if anybody could tell me if Fear Factor is closed temporarily or permanently?? I love the show and was hoping it would be open in November when we go. On Universal's website I can't find anything about refurishments or rehab dates. Do they have anything like that on the website??

Here's the link to the park calendar with hours. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the attraction closing information. I don't know about FF...it's open seasonally but if it's not open in the summer, it won't be open other times. I would just assume it's closed permanently but check when you get there.

I believe it is closed during HHN weeknends due to the Bill & Ted show that is held in the same theatre.

Well, it was open as of Saturday--that's when we went.....

It was pretty neat. They have casting a few hours before, so it is people from the park. They had all physical feats for the contestants and then some nasty eating tasks for some volunteers from the audience---yuck! We would definitely go again when we go back.

I saw it when it first opened and wasn't overly impressed so I haven't been back. I got over the show pretty quickly too.

I wouldn't mind squeezing it into my day when i'm there in September but if it's shut no big loss. It was entertaining though! We sat towards the back and could smell the bug cocktail they made....AWFUL!

Thanks for the park calendar with hours. I had saved it but it only said that Fear Factor is seasonal. I doubt it will be open when we're there. I guess I'll find out when we get there. I heard the same thing about Disaster. That sounds like a good attraction as well. Thanks again for the park calendar!!!
