:rolleyes1 As many times as we have been to Universal...have never done this show!May want to participate when we go in aug. (are we crazy):hippie: Do you recieve any type of momento for participating??Just wondering!!:coffee:

We we went last year, They gave away two Universal Theme Park Tickets:thumbsup2. I liked the prize but the show was very boring. i thought it was a waste of time:sad2:

I haven't done this show either and frankly have no desire to as I hate the television show!

You get 4 one day/two park tickets if you win and 2 one day/two park tickets for second place, plus t-shirts.

:goodvibes Thanks everyone! Not a big fan of the show either, but would maybe like to go just to say I did!The mummy and spiderman are the only rides I have never done as I fear death would be imminent!!I always volunteer to be the cell phone holder for everone...hey,somebody has to do it!!:woohoo:

Haven't done it either and also have no desire.

I don't visit the parks for shows, I'm there for rides.

I like the TV show so I was sort of looking forward to the show at US. I guess we might skip it now if it is really boring.

Oh, now there's nothing on Spiderman that is scary!!!!! You really should try it! I can understand the Mummy, but one ride on Spiderman and you would be hooked!:thumbsup2

I agree! Spiderman is AWESOME and not scary at all. I loved the Mummy also. Now, Dr. Doom's is a different story. ;)

Hi

We have done the fear factor show quite a few times and loved it. Will be going to see it again in a few weeks. I don't know where I read it but I think you have to live in the US to take part, maybe somebody else can help on this. Even if you can enter I am more than happy just watching.....

:cool1: It's not that I get scared...I get motion sickness really bad and am afraid if I do spiderman I will be green the rest of the day!!Not a problem with my residency...I live in VA!!Thanks everybody:woohoo:

Back to the Future and Jimmy Neutron are WAAAAAAAAY worse for people with motion sickness than Spiderman. If you can do either one of those, Spidey is a piece of cake. I won't ride Storm Force.

Have done btf and jimmy nuetron...notice I said have done!!!Sometimes I have to do things twice to remember why I don't like them...both of these rides are prime examples:eek:

I enjoy the show as well. It is a nice little diversion.

I went to see Fear Factor Live for the first time this past February. I actually enjoyed it a lot! It was just like the t.v. show - I was wondering if it was going to be all stunts, or if they were going to have some of the "gross" stuff (being around dangerous animals, eating gross things). Well, the day I went, they did even had a part where they had to eat gross stuff that was mixed up in a blender.

Here is what it said on the Universal Orlando website:

* A casting process is used to select 6 park guests to be contestants in 3 stunts in front of the live audience, with 1 winner for each show.
* An additional 18 participants are chosen from the audience to participate in the show.

They even had kids participate! They weren't the contestants of course, but they got to be little helpers, which they seemed to enjoy.

I have a lot of respect for the people who volunteered to participate!! You're brave for wanting to do so! :)

Brave..hmmm:eek: Crazy...probably:thumbsup2 :rotfl2: My 50th b-day is coming up in feb.,so I guess it is time to take the plunge. But I don't think that I can eat anything gross!!:goodvibes Just took the plunge professionally and gave up 1 part time job for 2 new part-time jobs!!But they are both doing something that I really love!!:goodvibes
