FDP and the DDP?

Can someone answer my question? We are going to WDW 10/29-11/06 and since I read that Fantasmic is going to be down most of the time we are there, I was going to schedule a FDP on 10/30 but can I use the DDP with that? What are your suggestions? If I can't, do you think its wise to just rely on an ADR and wait in line for Fantasmic? Thanks!!
